My favorite neighborhood spot. They make the best matcha lattes and I love their breakfast options (sausage biscuit, breakfast burritos, pastries). Their food always tastes amazing and they use quality ingredients - they have great lunch options too for a quick bite if you’re around :) also a great place to pickup some specialty items on your grocery list or get a unique gift for someone (or yourself) - Love this place, all the employees are wonderful people and the owner is just magnificent too. I consider them my neighbors and I’m really happy to see them. They are always very kind even when I roll in to the spot looking busted as if I just got out of bed. Can’t recommend it more if you’re around and looking for something to keep you cool on these hot summer days. Or warm during the winter. Much love 🦁❤🍵

Love this place! I go here for everything - coffee, breakfast, snacks, gifts, b-day cards, etc. They have a cool variety of food / products. The owner Lauren is great. Very active in the community (as local shops should be) and always supportive. Plus they give my dog treats everyday. He basically runs here every morning. (Pic is my sis and my dog)

I love this store. I frequent it regularly as I live right around the corner. The selection of curated treats, staples, baked goods, prepared foods and home goods and gifts is excellent. I rely on this store for quality essentials but also enjoy that I’ll always find something new when I stop in. Their homemade food is excellent. Try it all, especially the soups and the breakfast burritos. And the service is fantastic. I always feel welcome and enjoy conversations with the lovely folks behind the counter. This place fills me with joy whenever I stop by. The sense of community that this store brings is a much needed reminder that there are good people in the world.

This shop is cute as a bug’s ear!! Perfect spot for a fresh lunch (a rarity in this neighbourhood) or to grab groceries/a cool drink/coffee/snack/pastry and even gifts. Personable customer service from all the staff, all round A+. Pictured is a delicious chicken tikka masala wrap that was an absolute treat, which was a special today!

Willoughby General is an amazing mother owned and operated shop! You can not only get delicious food and coffee but also great curated gifts. Everyone is super friendly and a true neighborhood spot. It is always super clean and put together. If you are looking for a gift for yourself there is a great selection of self-care products that you won't find at the Duane Reade. You also know you are supporting the neighborhood when you shop here as the owner is a real voice of the people. I highly recommend .

Amazing local business!! Owner and employees are so friendly and professional, food is great, and they stock a wonderful variety of interesting products. Such a clean and inviting shop. I actually stop in to shop for birthday presents whenever a friend has a birthday because they have such cool stuff. Beyond that, Willoughby General stands up for the community and makes a huge effort to get local residents involved in volunteer work, mutual aid, and preservation projects.

We have frequented the Willoughby General every week for years and have always had an amazing experience. The people that work there are always super nice. The place is immaculately clean. They always have an amazing selection of prepared food as well as grocery items. They are a real asset to the community and I couldn't be more grateful for their presence.

I'm so happy I found this place! They have the best breakfast burritos that I look forward to as well as many fresh and healthy options for lunch or dinner when I'm in a hurry. It's great to have a variety of options of food, drinks as well as groceries. I love stopping here to pick up some organic cheese and snacks for a night in. Also the staff is amazing and very friendly as is the owner who always helps me choose what to eat when I'm feeling indecisive.

Love this spot. Their burritos are soooo good. Amazing fresh and delicious breakfast sandwiches. Literally never had anything here that wasn’t delicious. Highly recommend for a quick drink or bite to eat, and I almost always leave with something else cute or interesting. Best curated little general store.

Honestly my FAVORITE place in the neighborhood. I usually come here for breakfast because their breakfast burritos are 💣 but my go to is the cheddar chive sausage biscuit!! They also have vegan options, and over all just healthy snacks and meals! It’s always stocked up with the cutest accessories and bits of home decor too. It’s a safe space and one that I will treasure forever 💖

This is my favorite place in my neighborhood! I love the variety of products they have. The breakfast burritos are amazing and I am OBSESSED with the vegan pesto. I have also bought last minute gifts here as well. This place is a neighborhood staple and I hope it’s always here!!

I love Willoughby General, they truly do have all your wants and needs! The best treat is the cheddar chive biscuit sandwich, it’s beyond delicious as are all the grab n go sandwiches and salads. I also love buying cocktail mixers here as well as home goods like candles and gifts for friends. And of course, coffee and tasty pastries. Lots of nice treats if all kinds and the staff is always friendly!

My partner and I go here for snacks / coffee / treats multiple times per week. We love the community-oriented vibe and are huge fans of the breakfast burritos! Great selection of natural products. Kind staff. You will not be disappointed!

Entering Willoughby General is like getting a hug. So warm and welcoming, not to mention gorgeous, sparkling, and clean! Their food is delicious and their selection of local goodies never ceases to delight. I also appreciate the active citizenry of the owner and staff. They take pride in the neighborhood and, above all, care deeply about the community. We’re so lucky to have Willoughby General in and on our corner. Cute shop has what I need without having to go to a big box. Great snacks and food when I don't want to cook and great place to pick up a host gift before headed to a friends. Perfect little place and so glad its in the neighborhood.

I always make it a point to visit this adorable & awesome store when I’m nearby. The breakfast burritos are seriously so delicious. The food is clearly made with so much love & fresh ingredients. Lovely staff too! ❤

Absolutely lovely little shop. Great spot to pick up healthy, organic, local, fresh veggies, snacks, pastas, and my favorite chocolate. Lots of veggie and vegan options. Great selection of pastries, like the best one ever; cheddar chive biscuit. Chocolate chip cookies and bagels! Also, they have specials! Sandwiches, soups. Great staff, super friendly and helpful. Cute shop that has pretty much anything you would need in a day, even greeting cards and special gifts!

I don’t live nearby anymore but when I’m around I usually stop in for a breakfast wrap a sandwich or a coffee. I ill wind up leaving with more than just that though due to their insanely tasty inventory. It’s Was nice to see them open years ago and only improve over time! The negative reviews below were done by developers in the neighborhood because of the store’s activism and support in the neighborhood.

A true community space for the neighborhood. Every time I come in with my dog, they give him a treat. Everyone who works here is incredibly nice. The owner is fully invested in the wellbeing of the community which you can’t say for most places! Hope they stay here forever ❤
