The UPS Store

This is a great location! I have had a business mailbox there for over two years and getting it was one of the best business decisions I have made. I get packages there, which keeps me from worrying about deliveries at my house when I am out of town. Everyone there has been extremely helpful and pleasant no matter the question or concern. Even though there has been staff turnover during that time period, whoever makes the hiring decisions does a great job replacing one person with another guy that does a great job. Thank you all for being respectful, kind and helpful each time I am there.

Excellent location. The staff are always welcoming and respectful. It’s run very efficiently and there are rarely any waits. I’ve been to a handful of UPS Store locations and this is one of the best.

Going to this UPS location is a pleasure! The staff are cordial, professional, and efficient. I especially enjoy interacting with Morgan and Miguel - they are friendly and quick to get you in and out in a timely fashion. All the staff are patient and helpful yet quick to take care of you even when there a multiple customers in the store.

This is the best experience with UPS I have had. Staff are friendly and helpful and made my visit a quick and easy experience. One could not ask for more. Alfred has been nothing but stellar and is also knowledgeable about international shipments. This place goes above and beyond and I highly recommend going here for all of your shipping/delivery needs.

I love the service the UPS store on Cedar Lane in Teaneck. Miguel always welcomes me with his smile. He is so friendly & within a few minutes my Amazon package is complete. Thank you Miguel 👍

This is one of the most friendliest ups stores I’ve been to since I’ve moved to the area. The young man Miguel was very helpful and polite. I had to ship something to my family in Pennsylvania and needed it to get there fast, he help me choose the best way to do so and I just really appreciate his hard work.

Amazing UPS! Great staff, especially Scott who assisted me with Amazon returns just before closing. Also, great service for printing and posters for my business.
Bonus.. open on Sundays!!

2023 lockdowns and all problems are gone now. 5 stars!

I need to knock off 1 star because there are still 2 glaring problems with this UPS location.

#1 the lines are still over 1 hour long because they only allow 2 people inside the store at a time (which is rediculous!).. people will get sick on this 1 hour line, not due to COVID, but due to the common cold by forcing your customers to wait outside in 30 degree cold weather with high winds.

#2 Daniel. I am sorry for saying this.. Daniel is an awesome person, super friendly, super helpful, a perfect UPS employee in every way except the one thing that is important.. speed. Daniel spends over 15 minutes per customer. While i was standing in the line, I timed him with my watch and he averaged exactly 15 minutes per customer. Mind you he knew his line was out the door and down the block, yet he continued his "welcome to Disneyland" speech to every customer that walked into the door, every phone call, everyone he was working with and everyone exiting the door. This would be fine if there were no masks and no lockdowns and everyone allowed inside and if he had lots of coworkers helping him. But this was not the time nor place for Daniel to be taking his time explaining every service, every option, and every proceedure to every customer. I think Daniel is very talented and has an awesome voice. I believe he would make a great actor in movies, TV or voiceovers. But behind a UPS counter is a waste of his talents and a huge waste of time to all those customers waiting outside in the freezing cold of January during these crazy and stupid lockdowns of 2020 & 2021. For perspective, the line went all the way down past Shelly's restaurant. This is unacceptable.

To fix these 2 problems.. give Daniel any non-customer facing job (work in the back, moving boxes, loading trucks, accounting, inventory etc).. or give Daniel customer training with a huge emphasis on speed of transactions. Each customer should be in and out the door in less than 4 minutes instead of 15. If speed is beyond Daniel's ability and if he cant be placed in non-customer facing jobs, then you need to replace him with someone who can handle customers in an acceptable amount of time per transaction.

Also, on any known busy day you should have a minimum of 3 employees at the front helping customers.

On top of this, allow 5 or 10 customers inside the store till these stupid lockdowns are gone so people will not get sick waiting outside in the freezing cold.

Visiting the UPS store should not take a quarter of your entire day just because 1 employee doesnt know how to handle customers.

This is a very good UPS store. They offer a lot of shipping options. Great place to bring shipping returns for drop off. Good prices. Super friendly employees who are very helpful.

Cons:
During this rediculous covid lockdown, they only allow 1 person inside at a time. This forces a huge line down the sidewalk for no reason. The line can take up to 1 hour or longer. I think the manager or owner of this location should take a look at how grocery stores and small shops smaller than this one are allowing everyone to go inside at once with no problems. I think if they hired more people this would also help clear up the lines as well. They could have 1 employee taking return boxes off the long lines and that should reduce the lines by 50% or more.

I am newer to NJ and this store was so welcoming compare to the ones in NY! Miguel was great! He was knowledgeable and made everything so smooth! Will come back for sure :)

Today with my all packaging Albert helped me and he was very nice also positive. Its nice to see people like this working they need to get promoted and teach for the future employees 😊

Miguel was a pleasure to speak with. I was at their UPS Store in Teaneck NJ requesting some information regarding mailing a package. He was very knowledgeable and I was completely impressed with his professionalism and customer service.

First time at this location. I had a great experience , staff was polite and friendly . Especially Miguel! He was so attentive ,knowledgeable and had stellar customer service !

This store runs like a well-oiled machine. The staff is knowledgeable and efficient. Albert is very friendly, welcoming, helpful, and knowledgeable. He knows the business inside and out, can handle major levels of workflow from all directions simultaneously and keeps calm the whole time. Most of the workers there have great sense of humor and I often leave with a smile.

One of the greatest customer experiences in 2022. The three Al’s, Zack, and Morgan are always supportive and helpful. This is not the closest store to my house, but I come here because they are the best! Very efficient and always reliable. Also very respectful. I can’t say enough about this location. This is my store!

Allen and Morgan are outstanding employees representing not only their work ethic but UPS as a whole. They both went above and beyond assisting the customers both with professionalism, enthusiasm, courteous, and thoughtful. American is in need for more representative UPS is fortunate in having.
