Walgreens

They usually have what I need to get. I also get prescription meds here, not always on timely fashion. They also have a good array of otc meds. The staff are friendly and mostly helpful. I'm glad they're only about 2 short blocks from me.

Good size store, well-lit and well stocked. The staff are always very helpful.

A remarkable thing happened in March when Covid was first beginning to flex.

Obviously, there were no gloves or masks available either here or at any of the other local pharmacies. I went on delivery days for three weeks in a row, and never got gloves.

One day I asked the gentleman behind the counter when were the delivery days because I needed gloves badly. He saw the ones I were wearing were in tatters. He told me to check back on Friday. But then, he gave me 2 pairs of gloves out of his box from behind the counter.

This act of kindness and sense of community did not go unnoted. I am very thankful and humbled to have such fine people in Ridgewood.

Carlos in the pharmacy is awesome he answers all my questions and makes me feel welcome in the store cause and when I call the pharmacy one day for help he took his time and was patient with me and assisting workers like Carlos is the reason I will continue to come to this Walgreens

Love the staff!! They are generous and are willing to help! The only issue I have is the wait time on the line. Even with all registers are open, the wait is still long. Wish there was a self check out T.T; Would have made my life easier!
