Great store. You can buy a lot of Japanese product at good price. The store is clean and light. I enjoy shopping in this store.

Great place to get supplies to make gifts for people at an affordable price. My go to!

I came here for the first time today like 10 minutes before closing. The employees did not rush me and remained polite. It's very cheap unlike the one at Rego. They have cute, cheap knick knacks as well as housewares.

I was like a kid in a candy store shopping here. I especially enjoyed looking at the items in the Kitchen Consumption/Kitchen tool section. This store has a lot more than the Rego Center location. I actually prefer this location better even though it’s a hike to get to. As of the time of this review they currently have two job vacancies.

I've been so excited to go to Daiso, Flushing! The Mall is only a few blocks from the train station. This store has a great variety of items, from stationary to Food & Drinks! Prices ranging from $2-$6. You should definitely walk through each aisle to really get a good look at all that Daiso has to offer! If your a small business there's some items that Daiso offers that could help! Just a tip, if you visit at different times of the month you could possibly find more of a selection when they restock!! I'll definitely go back! Nice Staff, beautiful mall nice area.

And the Daiso invasion has arrived in the East Coast with the first location opening in Sky View Mall in Flushing... Do you like cheap dollar store items? Do you like stuff from Japan? Your dream has been granted. Daiso's marketing strategy is selling cheap stuff from Japan at $1.99 and up. Having been to many locations in Southern California, this store is extremely cramped, but all the sections are present. The grand opening literally caused the second floor of the mall to shut down due to the massive crowd it drew. Even 2 days after the grand opening, there is still a line to get into the store. Hopefully as more branches open up in the East Coast, this particular store will become more accessible. It's pretty incredible that in spite of the massive crowd, the store is still relatively well stocked.

SUPER CROWDED! There's only two stores in America and it's a Japanese dollar store so it's to be expected. You're bound to find something you didn't think you'd need, but now want. So many little things to buy it's crazy, but not as crazy as the long line I had to wait on. If you're in the area you should stop by just to see why it's hyped.

I was here a while ago and thought it was closed because it was no longer on the lower level but it is now on the 2nd level. I love this place with all the unique inexpensive Japanese items (some that you have to figure out it its use from the picture). Everything is $1.99 unless it has another value marked in Yen but there is a conversion chart in the store. 200 Yen costs you $3.50

Very popular Japan- based grocery store.

I went last weekend to see what all the hype was about. A long but fast line. A lovely well lit store super packed. Really great items but you'll get lost and over buy. Super cute sometimes unnecessary products. They have mostly $1.99 item with other priced accordingly. Can't wait to go back to buy some tableware. Side note the workers are awesome my toddler lost his scarf and we did not notice until leaving the mall. Ran back praying they might have it. Surprise surprise i was returned the scarf folded neatly having been found by a worker. Thanks guys can't wait to go back this weekend.

The best dollar store ever! So excited when I heard that they were finally coming to the East Coast and in Flushing!!!! The only thing bad about this store is that you are going to want to buy the entire store and it’s going to make you broke, but you’re still going to be amazed that you still spent nothing in comparison to every other store. Favorite section of this store is hands down the kitchen section. Not a thing you can’t find including Christmas decorations. These gold bows were a dollar.

I often see criticisms of this store but imo they all stem from the fact this store is WILDLY popular. Of course they run out of items, it's got some of the best things you'll ever spend $2 on. The prices are especially good when you consider the whole store is imported from Japan. I also love that a lot of their housewares are apartment sized.

Cute mini japanese department store. Items are reasonably priced and they have quality products. Love the beauty department especially! The cashier was very sweet.

"Japan Design and Quality" at $1.99, because most products are Made in China. They do have unique products you may not find elsewhere and definitely didn't think you need it, but still want it, because of the price. Not everything $1.99, products that are not have price tag on them. Waited 2 weeks before the cross die down. Bought close to 20 items, still didn't break $50.

Employees are friendly and helpful. Prices are very low considering the good quality. The products are similar to anything u can buy at a $1 store however, quality is way better.
I recommend buying the drinks, plush toys and stationary.

What's wrong with people leave negative rating just because the price isn't $1.5 like California or because it's a dollar more than what you can find in a 99 cents store. Think about it, you are in NEW YORK, the cost of living is different, just use any website to compare the cost of living in NY vs. LA, any one of them will show that NY's cost of living is higher.
BTW, the price is already incredible consider the good qualities, you cannot expect the price to be the same as 99 Cents store around the area while the qualities are different. Either get a binder that will have its plastic rip off in as little as one month, for the price of 99 cents or just a dollar more for something that will last longer.
