When I was young kid we would visit this store riding from Kingston to Beacon. Now as an adult I cherish this little deli. The ham and Swiss is so delicious. fresh bread and tasty overall. I get every time I visit area as I live in Connecticut now.

It shows that this is a family-owned business, and I love it. Ordered a simple breakfast sandwich. Definitely one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. Every single ingredient was distinct and fresh.

Old school deli with a nice variety of sandwiches and friendly service! Being in there is like going back in time. Love it!

This place is amazing! So so kind to my kids who are wild and love all the comics. That one star review by Bre Nicole is so opposite from the reality of this store, I think she might be projecting a little. Or maybe I’m just an “old lady” with a low paying job, too (We architects DO NOT get paid well). I highly recommend Smith’s for a lovely sandwich, down-to-earth service and a comforting environment.

Great deli sandwiches and a super convenient location. The store has a good amount of stuff and is well organized. The deli makes great stuff and is great for breakfast or lunch. No problem here. You can get in and out and have a great breakfast.

This is a wonderful family-run, friendly, hometown deli and grocery stop. They offer excellent food, from home cooked meals to very creative deli sandwiches and wraps - and if you don't see in their vast array of choices your exact wish, they will make it for you! Not enough emphasis can be placed on the jewel that this little family-run place is in this great big chain world!!

The best coffee, the best rolls, the best breakfast pastries, the best sausage egg and cheese sandwich anywhere. I always started my day there when I lived in town. I miss it!

Very fresh deli meat sandwiches are perfect to order . All homemade salads potato macaroni coleslaw just like Mamma used to make.

I've been going to Smitty store for over 20,, yrs on and off very clean great dubs breakfast sandwiches and especially the people who work there work hard and are very pleasant couldn't go to a better deli

This institution in the heart of Port Ewen is what raised several generations. If you are from Port Ewen at some point and time you have had a sub from Smitty's.
If your child has ever gone on a field trip, if you have ever gone someplace early in the morning,
If tou ever wanted an egg and cheese on a hard roll or wanted to play the numbers...Smitty's was the place that you went.
This family owned family run family operated convenience store is the one and onky stop to make in Esopus.
The Smith family has your family and mine for over 40+ years.
The sandwich choices are all posted and everyone has a favorite.
If you are not from Port Ewen than you need to go and enjoy a hero from the Sub Shop to end all sub shops...blimpies and Subway aint got nothing on this homemade do it all Deli.

My favorite deli. Everything is always fresh and delicious and everyone who works there is very friendly.

Every time I go into this deli I come out happier than when I walked in. My lunch is always made perfect and there is never a wait Good job ladies

I got the meatball sandwich on a hard roll. It was delicious meatballs and the sauce was good.
