Our 7 year old Daughter is the coolest human on the planet,and we did a road trip to St.Charles to go see this place..and she...WE along with my Wife and I loved it even more than we thought we would!Coolest store based on a genre I have ever been in and I'm a 50 year old nerd extroidernaire!!Thanks for the memories and for having a dream and making it come true while making others happy in the process!!BOO!!😱☠👻👽👾🙈🙉🙊😈👿❤❤❤💣💥

This place was freaking insane!! They had so much awesome stuff for sale there, from pins and knick knacks to artwork and clothing. This place really is so cool. I gotta come back here again when I'm in town.

Such a unique and extraordinary store! My kids and I stopped by on a whim passing through downtown St Charles and I’m so glad that we did. It was so much bigger than expected with an entire downstairs basement area that had dedicated spaces for famous horror movie villains, Ie Freddy Krueger, Jason, Pennywise etc with various art and other memorabilia for sale. The props throughout the store were amazing and worth the stop alone. We will definitely be coming back to buy some of the Vita Post Mortem creatures, so interesting!

Visited here 03/03/2024 and it didn't disappoint. The second we walked in, Elvira and Wednesday Adams plastered on the wall. As you move deeper into the store, you're greeted with more classics and modern day memorabilia. Ripley and Xenomorphs. 11 and the Demigorgon. Then Freddy, Jason and Poltergeist to sum up my childhood scary nights. There's so much more to name but honestly you have to see it to enjoy it!

So much more than you think. Every corner you turn brings new surprises. 4 free play horror-themed pinball machines are a bonus, but the displays and items for sale are the most fun. Chatted with Warrick for a while because we share a love of dogs and pinball. Store is dog friendly for well behaved pups (mine are too naughty to bring, sadly). Make sure you hit both levels. New items and displays every time I have been. I got a spooky new purse and my kids got cute and cool scary lap top stickers but we basically wanted to buy everything. So much fabulous original artwork on the walls. If you like old or new horror flicks, and want to support a local family owned business, stop in and check it out!

Genuinely one of the coolest places I've ever been to and FOR FREE!?! We were just driving by and as soon as we saw it we knew we had to stop by. Every corner of the store is full of unique art and cool items of classic horror characters. They have a few pinball machines as well that you can use for free. Definitely a must see for anyone who loves horror movies or spooky things in general. The owner was very helpful and kind. I definitely recommend it and will visit again. Thank you for the great experience!!

This place is really cool! They have so many art prints, and original pieces, enamel pins for everything horror and some patches! The staff are really helpful and nice too!
I’ll definitely go back! The store is being remodeled and they’re adding a downstairs area, but you’re still able to shop!

This place was very awesome!!! The wifey and I decided to check it out and we were very pleased with the cool things this place had. The owners were really helpful and cool as well. The amount of horror and cool stuff in here is to die for. We would definitely be coming here more often and by the way they do movie nights to!!!!

This place is great for all the horror lovers out there. The dark, beautiful art is gorgeous. There is always so much to look at and see. The props inside are amazing (a handmade demogorgon and an Audrey Two are especially awesome). Definitely worth a visit or five!

What a fascinating niche boutique. There are plenty of reasonably priced and entertaining trinkets, and the space also showcases the work of other makers and craftspeople in a manner that is a perfect combination of a walk-through haunted house and the world's most macabre gift shop. The Stranger Things display and pinball machine (which is possibly the only item in the store which is not for sale) were worth the visit by themselves! Endless interesting prints line the walls, many of which are available as a signed copy for art aficionados. Can't wait until the 9000 square foot basement addition is complete and ready to be experienced and enjoyed!

A phenomenal horror themed store that is unique, you will find nothing like this in Chicagoland! There are dozens of local artist produced pieces, including sketches, sculptures, and countless others. Notably, there is not one piece that is over $50, which I love. High quality art that doesn't break the bank!There even is an option to have a picture of your head placed in a bottle, very cool! When you walk in, it's like you're in a haunted house, it's an amazing atmosphere the owners are awesome and very friendly. Plus, downstairs will eventually be converted into a meeting place, where you can rent it out, and workshops will be offered there, according to the owners. If you're into horror, this place is definitely worth checking out!

Such a fun store with reasonable prices. Great for those who love horror, metal, and generally "darker" themes! Lots of great stuff to see and the store is way bigger than it first appears. I will be back!

Everytime I walk into goulish mortals there is new and even more amazing thing, unique art, unique items, they have new awesome cooking aprons, the pin ball machines are an epic touch. Love the staff, love everything

We love this place. We have so much fun when we visit and we always end up with something special.

Such a fun place to visit. My family LOVES all things Halloween so this store was perfect. Oddities, horror film items, art, and great gifts for your favorite witch! Keep in mind, this is not just a store, it is a destination. I had a hard time getting my kids to leave. Free pinball games and room after room of interesting items had them wandering everywhere.
Side note for parents of young kids: this store specializes in the unusual and some things may be scary for young kids. The ground level is fun for all but the lower level could be scary to some kids.

Fantastic store! Great customer service and selection of prints. From pop culture junkie to dragon enthusiasts, this place has you covered with prints, 3D printed sculptures, games, and more.

This shop is awesome!! Pretty much every aspect of the horror genre is represented here, from the MGM classics, up through the 80’s, and then modern stuff like Stranger Things.

The shop puts as much thought into the appearance and ambience of horror, as they do in what they carry. At least two horror-themed pinball machines are there too, which is really cool.

Go support shops like these; it's important to have destination shops that really care about what they do.
