Union Market

Union Market has finally arrived in Crown Heights, and it is a joy. The aisles are beautifully stocked by super friendly staff. The vegetables and fruits are fresh (and quite reasonably priced), as are the bread and cheeses. The meat and seafood selection are top-notch quality. The vibe is very warm and welcoming.

As expected, you can find a wide range of Union Market’s branded products such as their signature coffee blends, pastas and sauces. I was particularly impressed by their diverse selection of cheeses and beers. Also, their prepared foods aisle is a game-changer as you can find sushi, bowls, salads, soups and more. What a welcome addition to the neighborhood, it was worth the wait!

Highlights include an unmatched variety of fresh, quality produce esp fruits, berries, other veg which you cant compare to other nearby groceries/chains. Prices of most items are comparable to cost saving grocery chains like eggs, milk, kombucha, etc but there a few things that are a bit pricier like packaged cheese, juice, seltzer, bread. Still pleasantly surprised by a few items on sale which were very good. Impressive selection of soap and household items like cleaners. Really nice variety of dry artisan pasta, many diff brands and shapes that you’d find in some top notch restaurants. A very welcome addition to the supermarket scene in the area.

This is a fantastic grocery store. The staff are helpful and friendly. The products are amazing. So happy this Brooklyn-based business has expanded to Crown Heights.

Very clean, lots of options, like a Whole Foods Market. Some items are bit overpriced, but their baked goods are very reasonable priced. Will give it a try next time.

Union Market Market is a great addition to our neighborhood in Crown Heights. Lots of cheeses, baked chicken, lots of saucisson, great selection of meats and fresh fishes (the 2 last mentioned are a bit $$) but it's there, nearby. The dairy section is pretty big but missing the best butter PRESIDENT, BEURRE D'ISIGNY and real Yogurt (Danone, Nestle, Bledina). Overall, great supermarket!!

The food is always fresh. The meat can be expensive. The bread section has a variety.

They have sushi as well.

After rumors and signs for YEARS - I am so happy this Union Market finally opened in Crown Heights. The produce is really fresh, every employee is so kind and helpful, and the store is never crowded (which is great because I find Whole Foods and TJ's overwhelming). Only negative is that the pricing can be a bit higher, so I'm often shopping at two places for my groceries.

Special shoutout to the team in the meat & seafood section - they have been especially helpful with my questions about cuts, cooking techniques, and more on multiple occasions. Thank you!

This is the best Union Market I’ve ever been to. It seriously feels so luxurious. The cheese, produce, meat, and fish selection is out of this world. As someone who’s lived in Crown Heights for 4 years, I can say with a full heart that it has truly been worth the wait!

Food is always fresh and there are tons of organic products to choose from.

They’re still working on things inside. The prepared foods, fresh fish and butcher are all available.

I wanna cry cuz it’s so incredible; finally good produce, meat and fish in the neighborhood. Produce easily beats out the selections at most of the local stores and markets in the neighborhood.
