Authentic Mexican food. I’ve had several dishes that were amazing. The red mole is super flavorful. The service was quick, prices are fair.

Food is usually good but my fajita Texana didn't come with the shrimp that was expected. There was no shrimp at all. Then we couldn't get the attention of anyone to point it out until everyone was done eating and ready to leave. We were then offered for them to bring some shrimp to the table of people who were done eating everything else. So the taco was good, meat was good but I have no idea if the fajita was good or not
Update: Service has gotten better and faster.

The staff may not speak the best English, but they have THE BEST tacos I've ever had in my life, and I've eaten a lot of tacos over the years. Try the tacos lenguas en tortillas de maíz. You'll thank me later.

Comida real!!! Mexican food properly prepared. Look around at the clients, the food is really and not Americanized. It is a clean simple store with food cooked to order. The rest rooms are clean and the kitchen is very clean and well organized. I have been dining here for over five years, never an issue. I also speak Spanish daily and am comfortable in the company of Latinos. If your looking for tex mex or mariachi bands, keep looking because this isn't your kind of place. If you want real Mexican food and a great price El Girasol delivers. The weekend specials are superb, I do recommend the charcoal grilled chicken plate. Great horchata if you like horchata.

It is one of the best Mexican style food. Real authentic. Very friendly, and quick service. Moderately price. Recommended highly.

Best tamales in town, but English is not a strong suit. Although you can find someone who does or you can get by. Everyone is super friendly!
