Delightful stop on our way through to the Portland area! Love that this shop has a mix of new and used! If we lived here it would be our go to place to order books! Found a fun little used Jules Verne and am excited to shop by again on our next trip through!

Such a quintessential bookstore!
From the front door to the old wood floors to the old fashioned counter.
An vast array of books from local, state, and national authors....adult, teen, children, and nic nacks of all sorts.
Limited supplies but that seems to allow this store to display more books in the space at hand.
Need a book not in stock? Not to worry...the super nice and knowledgeable staff will search and order it for you.
One of my books arrived within 2 days.

I am so happy I stepped by this book store. The oldest bookstore in the Pacific Northwest. I got some great buys and a few free books. I highly recommend if you are in the area you stop by and say hi & think of all the people who have been there before you.

I’m not from the Oregon area but I spoke to Cheryl (sorry if I’ve misspelled that) and she was really kind! I kept getting ahead of myself when ordering a book but she was patient and I’m really excited to come back and order books again when I find something new. :)

It was a beautiful experience just to look through the store. They had books of so many different genres and small gift items as well

A very nice bookstore! Throw away that Kindle and go here. There's nothing like reading a book the old fashioned way.

It's a great community bookstore. It some local newspapers too. The staff was helpful in locating books of local interest. Just passing through and it's worth a stop.

Has many selections of books, fiction, non-fiction, scifi, kids books and more! Good books for all kinds of people elderly, adult, teen, kids all alike! Service is also very great! 5/5 "I come back some what often"- in my own words.

Had such a wonderful morning here! There was a good selection of books and I took home two. The store is beautiful and I also had some great conversation with Joaquin while I was there. Definitely everything I could have wanted.

Great little bookstore! I bought two books so I could brag about getting books at the oldest bookstore in Oregon.

This book store is a little small with a smaller selection of books. But they are willing to order pretty much any book for you to purchase, which helps with the limited store space. Pretty much every time I've ever been in the store they've had a decent sized section dedicated to local authors and things that to do with the region. The sales people are friendly and willing to let you browse without pestering you often. They've also got little knick-knacks tucked away in the shelving and on pretty much every flat surface that are for sale.

Great place to eavesdrop and grab a book. The floors are not as creaky as they were 20 years ago, but it is still a nice spot.

Excellent piece of history and nostalgia wrapped up in everyone's favorite a bookstore. This is historical building has been in operation as a business for over a hundred years. that doesn't stop them from being up-to-date, bringing an awesome author, and staying relevant to the book market. Definitely worth of peek in and a shop around to support local businesses. We want to keep these kind of places alive.
