We heard this was the best place to get a wok and Chinese cooking utensils- and was it ever! The owner was so kind and explained the differences to us. He helped us choose the best option and picked out a spatula for us. We also got a bamboo steamer and he suggested a short foot steaming tool that was amazing. He was careful to never be pushy, just informative and so lovely. He also directed us to a grocery store on mott street where we got so many traditional Chinese ingredients we couldn’t have found otherwise. I can’t recommend this business enough!

This store is amazing!!!! Just moved in and it had exactly what we didnt bring to move in! (trash cans, lamp shades, laundry detergent, paper towels) Coming here every time I need to pickup something quick! So affordable too!

Both times I’ve been here, I’ve gotten great service. Yesterday the owner helped me pick out a wok spatula and ladle. Very friendly and helpful. I look forward to coming back next time I need more kitchen/house stuff.

A true “mom & pop” store, with everything you could ever need. Ken and a Vicky are incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. The inventory is amazing, and great quality as well. We’ll be outfitting most of our kitchen from this one fantastic store, and much much more. It’s a new favorite for us, and we can’t wait to go back!

I went to KK Discount Store specifically to find Kiwi brand kitchen knives, and the owner gave me his full attention and time to show me all the sizes he had under the counter. The prices were great and I found exactly what I wanted. This is a very friendly community orientated store and if you can't find what you need on the packed-shelves, ask the owner because he has more tucked away.

Half the price of Amazon and all the nostalgia of a classic mom and pop Chinatown shop — buy local and support Chinatown, they need your business! The sweetest owners, happy to help with anything you need, and kitchen staples packed left and right. I stocked up on Winco bench scrapers, a fish spatula, offset bakery spatula, strainers and will surely come back for more. Lots of dishes, racks, steaming trays, anything you can think of and they accept cards, come check it out!

Seriously consider coming here for your next housewares purchase like a strainer, or a ladle perhaps. Stores like this used to exist everywhere in the city but are hard to find now because "mom & pop" businesses like this are the real casualty of online vendors like Amazon. Stores like these are absolutely essential for building and preserving communities and they need your support to survive. This place has literally every kitchen tool, utensil and more at a better price than Amazon. If you're in the city, check this out.
