I recently got a dollhouse and decided to check this place out on a whim. It was like a miniature museum right when you walked through the door. It looks small from the outside but it’s actually quite big with multiple rooms. Anything you could want for your dollhouse they have. I could have browsed for hours. It was so much fun talking to the owners. Jean and Renee gave me a tour and helped me find a beautiful grasshopper weathervane. They even do dollhouse restorations. Overall it was my favorite find in Nashville and I can’t wait to return.

Miniature Cottage is a magical place. The moment you step through the door, you feel like you are in a completely different and wonderful world. The owner, Renee, is exceptionally talented. Her displays are fresh, inspiring and change with each season/holiday.
The lovely staff is knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful.
It is definitely worth the trip to visit in person. There are surprises everywhere and custom made creations that might not make it to the website! A fun experience! One thing my husband likes is that they work meticulously to price each tiny item. We always seem to find what we are looking for and more. One day we might even take one of Renee's classes!

Absolutely fantastic store! Exceptionally friendly staff and incredible selection! If you love miniatures you could make a whole day here! Even though the pricing is reasonable and in many cases VERY competitive with other miniature retailers online and in physical locations, miniatures can still add up fast (yes i spent too much but i loved it!!!); even if you just come to look though, it's very much worth the trip! I was even able to see some of the projects that the staff were creating and they are wonderfully talented!!! I hope I can visit again but even if I don't I'll continue to shop online. Highly recommend 👌

I started taking my daughter here 10 years ago and we still walk down every time we have coffee at Sam & Zoe's.

A delightful miniature shop full of EVERYTHING to delight the serious collector to the newest mini enthusiast. From artisan pieces to ‘beginner’ mass produced items…tiny designer purses to seasonal delights….gorgeous furniture and loads of wallpaper….they have it all! A lovely and extensive lighting inventory too…and precious staff ❤

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. This place is just 20 minutes from downtown Nashville. It is packed with everything you could want for your miniature collection. Artist created pieces if the highest quality as well as mass produced pieces. Building supplies, lighting, wallpaper, moldings. A doll making section with fabrics and trims. I spent 3 hours here and easily could have spent 3 more.

I have been going to Miniature Cottage for a lot of years. They have retail items in-store. If you are in their store and don't see something you want, they will be more than happy to order it for you. They sponsor many events, and also offer a variety of classes, from time to time so check their website. Their prices vary, depending on what you get. I've bought things costing only 10 cents, and I've bought things for several hundred dollars. They carry many moderately-priced miniatures for those with a budget in mind, and they carry a lot of pricey, high-end miniatures.

The staff is very friendly and attentive. I try to pick a time to go when I doubt there will be a lot of foot-traffic. However, I've also been there when it was busy. Either way, it's worth the trip. Even if you don't live in the Nashville TN area, you should plan a trip to see this adorable little shop of miniatures. As a bonus, if you go around a holiday, they have several themed displays to see. Oh, they have a beautiful lavender painted victorian home the owner inherited displayed in their bay window. I always have to make sure I spend time with it every visit.

This place is really impressive. It is worth going to just to see the museum-quality examples that the store owner and some of the staff have on display. My mother does a lot of work with miniatures, and this always where I go to get things for her. Full range of miniature quality and cost, from inexpensive stuff suitable for low-budget projects to super-expensive, jaw-dropping, museum-quality art. I have always found the staff to be friendly and accommodating. Make sure you aren't in a rush when you go: first because you'll want to look at the displays, and second because since there aren't many people working there at a time, the level of attention they give to each customer means that if someone is ahead of you, you may have to be patient. But the place is seldom crowded, and even if you do have to be patient, it will be worth the wait.

Love this business. 🥰 They have a large variety of dollhouse miniature furniture, accessories and dollhouse dolls to explore in 1/12 scale, from the budget friendly to the more expensive one-of-a-kind artist made. There are also some in smaller scales. They also stock electrical and lighting supplies, paints, floor covering, wallpapers, doors, windows, stairs and wood finishing. It is treasure to find a brick and mortar dollhouse store like this. Very friendly, helpful staff.

Great selection of everything dollhouse. Furniture, figurines, food, utensils, houses, and so much more. People were super friendly and knowledgeable.
