What a store. What a selection! Family owned too. We do not have this in New York - not even a little. Hundreds of new Martins, Collins - beautiful guitars. Lots of room to take one and play it and even some private rooms so you can hear well. I had to leave early to get to a Billy Strings show but when I called them they still had the 12 string Martin I fell in love with and they shipped it to me for free. There is magic in Nashville!!

Got to see the snake collection upstairs. Fantastic fantastic. Besides playing a handful of vintage and beautiful guitars. I got to play a Gruhn acoustic, wow! On my list now of things I need. My teenage son was in heaven as well. Fantastic and friendly staff! Thank you!

I love this guitar store. They have a huge selection of guitars, and as a left-handed player, I appreciate that they usually have more than one lefty to try out.
You have access to everything from $450 guitars, all the way up to $10k+. The staff is helpful and always very chill about letting you play anything you want. If you’re lucky, you might just spot a famous guitarist or two just dropping in to play something special.

Was a great visit. My husband plays and has strong adoration for quality guitars (what guitar player wouldn't?)! He was amazed at the collection and the ability to touch and play any of the guitars on the floor. Although he didn't purchase, he was very excited to mark this off the bucket list of places to visit. Staff were very kind and informative. Helpful in explaining any question that he had about specific guitars. PS - the mural outside is pretty awesome as well!!!

What an awesome store…if you are in the area, this is hands down a MUST VISIT shop! Amazingly kind people and phenomenal selection of acoustic and electric guitars. If you’re an acoustic aficionado, then this is you’re oasis. Can’t recommend highly enough!!

I simply cannot say enough good things about this man, his business and staff. Arrived from out of state with wife and nephew, and was treated like gold the minute we walked through the front door untill we left. Ended up sitting with george for a good hour or so discussing his own design/acoustic. Just an amazing instrument, & highly recommend his design! You can do so much on this 22 fret beast! So many others to choose from as well, incredible inventory. Thanks George, you made our visit more than perfect!

Visited during a 5 day vacation in Nashville. Soooo impressed with everything- enormous and varied inventory, friendly and knowledgeable staff and a spacious and beautiful showroom. It's worth the visit just to see the enormous and creative mural that covers the outside of the store.

Although I didn't purchase a guitar, I had several helpful conversations with several staff. Obviously a lot of expertise and pride in this business.
Well worth the visit, even if you only buy a hat and tshirt (like me).

Had a great time trying out different guitars. Wasn't able to find a fit, but the staff were just outstanding! All incredibly friendly and welcoming. Really appreciate being able to bring my dogs in as well as we were traveling from out of town. Best of all, everything was very accessible and not locked up like at certain other store brands. A real players' store. I certainly wouldn't have any hesitation in pulling the trigger here for the one. Tks guys!

This place is a guitar nerd's dream! Picked up a new Martin Gruhn Special OM28/45 a couple of weeks ago and it was an amazing experience. Gary was great, not pushy and very helpful. It's a very relaxed atmosphere, you can play anything you want and the guitars aren't locked up like a lot of places. Got to meet George and see some really cool guitars. Everyone there is really friendly and welcoming.

This music store is absolutely stunning. Not a place for low end instruments. This is a store for the most serious of guitarists with exquisite taste in instruments. Best inventory I ever saw at a music store. Super friendly staff. Comfortable places to test drive guit fiddles. If you're a serious player, this is your candy store.

I have so many good things to say about this place. Firstly, after going to 6 other stores in Nashville, this was the only place I found that actually had a selection of left-handed guitars. The staff did not push me or try to sell me anything as I was browsing. They simply gave me free reign to find my perfect guitar. Needless to say, I made a purchase. The customer service here is above and beyond. I was well taken care of and the staff was extremely friendly. This is the only place I will go to for my guitar needs from here on out. Thank you guys for such an awesome experience. 🙏

These people that work here and run this store are the best experience I’ve ever had in a guitar store. The guitars here are only exceeded by the fine fine people running the store. The sales team, the cashier, any other employees, all made my girlfriend and I feel incredibly welcome from Beginning to end. Corey, Bryan, and Gary are awesome, period. I would have come back today ( sunday) but they’re closed and we’re heading home. It was an incredible place, incredible people. The best guitar store I’ve ever witnessed or experienced. They ARE the real deal! Knowledgeable, nice, helpful, real, cool! “ it was the highlight of our trip” my girlfriend said. And she doesn’t even play guitar! They have the best finds here btw. Anything you bought at any price range would be a fine guitar in every sense. They have no bad guitars. If it was not in great shape in some way; they would probably take it and fix it for you on the spot. They are thorough, they are detail oriented, they are consummately professional with each other and the many customers coming through everyday. Thank you, Gruhn Guitars!

A guitar shop that is furnished and operated with love. When I was there, I was warmly welcomed and well looked after. Although I obviously didn't want to/couldn't buy anything, I was allowed to play everything and people were always nice to me. I'm from Germany and had this guitar shop at the top of my Nashville todo list for a reason! I bought a t-shirt and even got a second one as a gift. Thank you and see you next time! What is there to say about Gruhn? There might be guitar shops that have a comparable collection of incredible instruments, but none better.

The atmosphere and staff are awesome. Compared to most of the people in the store, I'm a hack and am really not in the market for the level of instruments they sell. But, they don't care. Everyone is friendly, answers any questions you have, and invites you to play anything in the shop.

What more could anyone want out of a place?

Drove 10 hrs to Nashville hoping to find “the one”. Found it at Gruhn’s. I spent nearly an entire day there like a kid in a candy store. Tried out every flavor of Martin they have. In the end, I left with the first guitar I’d picked off the wall: Gruhn Spec 18 Sinker Mahogany OM. Absolutely the best playing and sounding guitar I’ve ever come across at that price point.

So far, the coolest guitar store I've ever been to. They have very nice guitars, all of which you can pull down and play without asking. Nobody hassles you at all, they just let you look like it's a normal thing for a person to look at and hold guitars

I was passing through Nashville on a business trip, so I wanted to stop in at the legendary Gruhn Guitars and see it. I'm not in the market for a guitar right now, but I did want a t-shirt. The friendly guy behind the counter encouraged me to play any guitar in the place, so I went around and played five or six, including a $13,000 Eric Clapton special.

I encourage any musician to drop in and absorb the casual, friendly Gruhn vibe.

The employees are very friendly and helpful. There are guitars in there you won't find anywhere else.

Gruhn guitars was like walking into a palace of guitars. I was in awe at the sheer amount of beautiful, high quality guitars.
These are not cheap, big box store guitars. These are all works of art and excellent quality.
The staff were very friendly and attentive.
It is definitely worth a stop if you are in Nashville. Who knows, you might bump into someone famous. Known musicians are a frequent visit to Gruhn’s.
