Abundance Food Co-op

Just found this place on a walk today. Amazing food quality and selection. They even have locally grown mushrooms. This will be my new go to market.

Recently got into baking sourdough bread and I’ve been looking high and low for a good bread flour. Went here and asked who was their supplier for their bread flour, and to my surprise they get their flour from Central Milling, one of the best places to get strong, quality bread flour! Will definitely get my flour from Abundance Food Co-Op from now on!

Love Abundance! Wish they had a better variety of bulk herbs, though- many seem to have been d/c'd.

Love this place for all things organic or vegan. My favorite are the all natural fig newtons. I come back for them! They also have compost bins which is what I was searching for originally since I like to compost but don't have a large area to use it myself.

First time visit. Very well organized. Plenty of help. Great selection of natural, healthy foods. I'm coming back!

I'm really enjoying this store. I found that they carry Stemet's 7 and other supplements that I enjoy. They have a healthy variety of ciders compared to many other stores and they also have a good variety of vegan and vegetarian foods but also plenty of meats. The store might not be the largest but it carries a variety of products that I find hard to find in a lot of your big retail stores. I will continue coming back here. The prices aren't that bad either depending on what you're buying. Everything that I bought seems to be the same price as they are anywhere else.

Locally owned and operated, this community resource is more than just a grocery store. Excellent local produce. Good health provisions in a great environment. Great takeaway selections and a good selection of beer and other beverages. Shop local!

Great store, they even offer ioniz water at .99 a gallon. Bulk foods, organic lines and caster oil products that clean everything from your body to surfaces around the home. The tellers are kind and informative.

This place is amazing & they have great programs for frequent shoppers.

My wife and I do the majority of our shopping at Abundance. Great selection of products and amazing staff. Sprinkles is the man!! Always good for a laugh. My go-to store for food and fresh baked breads.

Abundance is the best local food store in Rochester. The products are vetted for high quality and sustainability, and the staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The prices are competitive with comparable quality. The bulk department is varied and allows you to get just as much as you need. Members get access to special deals, monthly discounts off your total purchase on the day of your choosing, and access to bulk ordering. There are products to support every dietary need. They have even increased their selection of prepared foods. If you haven't been in yet, then check it out!

Super cute place and friendly employees. As someone mentioned, the food is more expensive -- but definitely worth it to pay a little more for the multitude of eco-friendly, vegan, and healthy options they have. I like that you are able to take advantage of the co-op deals, even without buying a membership. Will definitely stop by again!!

Hooray! 🤩My first visit was today! I specifically came for the exquisite Small World homemade bone 🍖 broth; Abundance had 8 containers for the most reasonable price I’ve seen yet! I purchased them all. I’ll surely return. Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃

I joined just over a year ago. I live in the neighborhood and I am 67. When I joined I learned of the double up produce program. In November of last year, I was diagnosed with CHF and AFib. I walked as much as possible and ate the fresh produce from abundance. Seven months later, my echocardiogram came back that my heart is back to what it was before that diagnosis. My heart is deemed as normal again. My heart rate is normal again. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I do owe it to the large variety of fresh produce and to staying on my feet.

My go-to place for produce. They don't always have everything, but what they do have is miles better than what you'll get at any chain grocery. A little pricey, but if you can afford it it's absolutely worth it.

One of the closest grocery stores to downtown Rochester. Great selection for dietary restrictions and preferences. On the pricier side, but surprisingly they have a good amount of options for a small store.

Quaint smaller market with unique items, great prepared foods, and friendly staff. The vegan garbage plate wrap was delicious gamble that paid off.
