I still really like this Food City, so I hate taking a star away. Unfortunately, I was surprised and disappointed to be told that I could not be given a rain check for the ad price of the flap meat that was sold out. The reason was that I was there on a Sunday, and the sale price was good through Tuesday, which was the day I would get a rain check if the meat was sold out then. Fortunately, since it was Sunday, I was given the rain check for the T-bones as that sale ended on Sunday. The cashier who usually checks out my groceries was not there, and possibly this lady was a new employee? I'm not sure. Anyway, my original post is still true.

I love the great deals on meat and produce here!

Been having trouble lately finding a completely stocked produce area - and this store had one! The produce was complete and fresh and relatively low priced. The meat section was also fully stocked and lower priced than what I've seen - with tempting cuts. Unfortunately, I don't live really close, but happened to be in the neighborhood, stopped and I'm glad I did!- and will do so more often.

Went in the store and bought groceries especially their vegetables I love shopping here for deals on their vegetables. I went to self checkout as it's 6 pm and Isabel the cashier watching over the self check out scanned a barcode and rang everything up in no time she bagged everything and even put it in my cart. I was shocked how fast it was to self checkout and told her I've never been anywhere where the person at the self checkout offered to scan and bag my groceries. I am absolutely hoping that Isabel gets recognized for this because she impressed the hell out of me. Great job!

One of the best FCity in tucson! Well organized, always stocked with our favorites. Paul the stock person is so friendly professional and attentive; very helpful with special orders. Self check out is perfect. Only wish they had a deli please!
Prefect neigborhood grocery store, Best avocado prices in town.

I like food city, but this location is my favorite, because of the self payment machines. The staff is very friendly. All the other locations have only one cashier, takes more than 15 min to pay, but this location 3-4 min tops.

This place makes me kind of emotional. It taught me a lot about spices and other Mexican cooking preferences. At the moment they really incentivize self-checkout, so be prepared for that.

Best selection of produce and meat at reasonable prices. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

I like being able to find great produce at good prices. I also shop here when I need ingredients for Mexican dishes at very reasonable prices.

My favorite grocery store for produce & they have a wide selection of spices and dried herbs. For Mexican food cooks, you want to shop here

I love that they always have a special, a box filled with four different types of meat ---steaks, pork chops, ground hamburger and chicken thighs/legs. All for like 20-25 bucks!!! It's such a money saver!! You can't find that deal at Walmart or anywhere else!

I go here for the produce they're very reasonable better than any they have greatmeat prices they have a kitchen there that makes different Mexican food very delicious you must go in there and check it out if you're looking for a meal they have that also and bakery

All your groceries are here exotic food and a lot of different things that you can't get at your regular grocery stores a lot cheaper than some of the chains as well

I believe food City has one of the best prices in poetry and then meet outstanding please if you need spices fruit vegetables if you looking for a certain products this is the place shelving are stock daily you're greeted with a great smile people are very polite and nice there to help you in every way plenty of shopping carts many different Mexican products hope you visit you have a great day now

I love Food City and I always have!!.. they have my favorite Apple in their produce selection.. Golden Delicious so they will be getting more of my business.

Food city is my go to store for my daily food needs, their selection of international foods is Amazing.

This rating is solely for the store on the Southside, Valencia & 12th Ave store. Clean....very clean unlike the one on 22nd & Country Club which makes my skin crawl....nothing personal just don't care for the unkempt store when I'm shopping for food to put on my table.

This place is amazing. When I pulled in the parking lot, a store employee was grilling chicken outside of the store. They grill and sell different meats 5 days a week. The chicken included tortillas and salsa for $6.98. There were 6 fresh handmade beverages to choose from for a reasonable price. Highly recommended!😊
