Himmel Park

It has a lot of trees and has plenty of walking spaces. Beautiful place to relax and wind down during the evenings.

Walked there for the first time with my kids. Pretty good size park. It was Sunday morning and there was this music thing going on. There was no talking allowed but I could tell everyone felt good and was at peace with themselves dancing however they felt like. One lady explained to my son what it was about, thank you.

This park is great for going to just relax and chill during the weekdays.

On weekends the park get rather full and though I can deal with it sometimes when there is a huge crowd I tend to not go places.

I wish that they would reopen the community pool as I've never gotten to use it since I only found out about it last summer.

With the small but very helpful library right there at the park, it makes for a great place to grab a book and read while relaxing under some of the very nice trees around the park.

Love this part cuz a lot better than it looks it tennis courts Great place to play frisbee. Also you can walk all the way around it for an exercise well groomed. Just overall great park

When I was a driver for a non-emergency medical transportation company, I was always notating places that I could sit in the van and complete my paperwork. This was good for it, but even better was the covered parking between the park and the Raisin' Cane north of the park. Also, this park doesn't have public restrooms, but, again, the Cane does, as long as you're a paying customer. So I would get a quick lunch or something.

I like Himmel park. Free 5k timed runs every Saturday. Sundays they have folks stretching and walking dogs together.

Big park with lots of room for moving around, items for the kids to play on. Tennis and pickle ball courts. There is a pool. And to my knowledge one of the only city parks with a library.

Food and treats are close after your fun.

New playground structure is fantastic! Shaded play area, and lots of large trees. Plenty of challenging climbing structures. Swings, and a few musical instruments. Mostly drums and a little piano. Trees to climb on, and plenty of shaded benches.

I was worried with the new play structure that they might have removed the old giant metal slide, but it's still there! It was the temperature of the sun, and the kids were bummed it was too hot to use when we were there in a spring heatwave at noon, but it's good to know we can visit it again when the sun isn't overhead. Please keep it forever!

I love taking my dogs here! It's a great community park nestled in a great neighborhood. There are tennis courts, outdoor workout equipment, multiple baseball and soccer fields (although they are installing irrigation lines right now, so it's a construction zone until further notice!) And they even have a library on the NE corner! Great park for all ages to enjoy!

When I lived in the area I used to jog here. Family atmosphere tennis court soccer field, basketball court , workout stations in every corner. Today was all about yoga.💪🙏😎
Now that the weather has changed it's become more active-

This park is a great place to relax and walk around. The park offers a rest room and serval fountains spread throughout the park if you need to hydrate. Great place to relax and enjoy the day!

We love this park! All the equipment has been upgraded and is very nice! We spent 3 hours there today, and will be back again very soon! I love how they have the small playground as well as the bigger one! Lots to do!

Always a good time at this park. It's clean, and has so much to offer from toddlers all the way up to adults!

A small but clean, family park. Exercise stations, pickleball courts, tennis courts and lots of grass and trees. The Himmal Library is there for you as well.

Himmel park has always been a nice park in the middle of the city, Rolling Green Landscape play areas for children picnic areas a pool and did I mention the Rolling Green Landscape and eucalyptus trees. We started going very very occasionally just to hang out and eat lunch and enjoy respite from the daily grind. We discovered during the covid-19 shut down that Himmel park was a great place to head to after picking up carryout coffee for social distancing coffee dates with friends.

There are plenty of shade trees and grassy space for hanging out with dogs. The pickleball courts seem to be popular, and there is also a pool (which I have not tried yet.)

The playground was clean. It was private...fun. The playground looked like a forest theme. I loved it! My daughter had a great time!

I went for Sunday morning ecstatic dance at 9 and drum circle Sunday afternoon. Great park with good restroom facilities.

I often go to the library here for books and information about things of interest to me.its quiet,clean,the staff is friendly not intrusive.just an place to get knowledge.
