Coming from Orlando, Fl where we are surrounded by lakes and ocean on both sides to experience the flora in this park was just like going to another world. Who would have thought that in such an arid place there would be such diversity and vibrant colors. Absolutely beautiful and manicured in some places while wild and untouched in others.

Each time I go, they've added new improvements. Oro Valley Children's Museum is now located in the gardens, as well as another children's area making it very family friendly.

Such a beautiful place! Went back in June and there was live music and food. Also went for Glowing Pumpkins— Super cool walk through!

Beautiful garden to visit with lots to look at and explore. We went during chilling at the chul event. They had great food, live music all night, and most of the garden was open to wander around. As well as the art galleries being a good spot to cool down. It was free for this event to get in, but normally, its around $15 for adults.

Desert gardens with well maintained walkways featuring lots of places to relax on a bench & enjoy the peaceful beauty. The plants & trees are mostly labeled and displayed in unique, creative settings. The gift shop offers books, unique art (we bought a signed, framed, colorful, embellished photo of agave), hats, handbags - definitely worth checking out. The greenhouse features potted cacti & desert adapted plants for sale at very reasonable prices (several came home with us). The garden bistro has both indoor & shaded outdoor seating. Wonderful (but a bit pricey) menu in a lovely garden setting. We waited over an hour for a table at 12:30, followed by another wait of an hour for our meal. The food was worth the wait, & we weren't in a hurry. Great place to spend a couple of hours or most of a day.

We had brunch outside in the garden at the Bistro and it was lovely! We arrived at 8:30am on a Sunday and had no wait. Our waitress was exceptional and the views stunning. Best of all, the menu is creative and our food was delicious. Although we didn’t tour the gardens this visit, I highly recommend spending time there. Be sure to check out their gift shop for local food and original souvenirs to take home.

An absolutely beautiful way to spend a few hours. Adult admission is $15. Take your time wandering the beautiful grounds and appreciating the diverse array of desert trees, plants, succulents, and cacti. You'll find many sculptures situated along the pathways, some of which are for sale.

It was very quiet when I visited but I imagine it can get busy here due to the size of the parking lot. There's a cafe and gift shop onsite.

Amazingly beautiful, incredibly peaceful. Gorgeous trails take you through the gardens where you'll see rare and unusual along with local specimens of plants, shrubs, trees, succulents, cactus and rocks, turtles, lizards, butterflies and birds. It's a wonderful display - especially in Spring when so much is in bloom. There is food and drink available and some nice gift shops. Really nice place to spend time.

Tohono Chul is already a great place and Glowing Pumpkins is the perfect event for it. We had a wonderful time walking the path surrounded by music and decorations. The giant calaveras were the best. It was like a Disney ride without the lines or machines or being crammed into a car with a bunch of other people. Just a beautiful walk under moonlight.

I hope they continue to have this event at Tohono Chul. An employee told me they had Glowing Pumpkins at a mall last year. I wouldn't have gone to this at a mall.

Lots of fun! The grounds are lovely and the Glowing Pumpkins event added some beautiful sculptures and pumpkins to the mix. It's a long but enjoyable walk on a path that is equal parts paved and unpaved so watch your step. All in all its a great place! We'll be back!

We came slightly late, but they seated us and fed us

Everything from Tacos to Croissant chicken salad sandwich was good.

Best fresh fruit salad I've ever eaten at a restaurant!

Pretty location and use of the natural environment

Incredible park hosting plants from all across the globe. Lots to see and do if you're at all a fan of nature. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Bistro located on the grounds was delicious and well worth the stop.

I took my friend for brunch while she was visiting me in Tucson. It was the first day they rolled out the new menu. Our food was amazing. It was delicious and creative. Be sure to try the Mesquite flour pancakes and enjoy the coffee… Arbuckle (a local roasting house). Heavenly dining surrounded by lush desert trees.

Getting there early made a huge difference as it was packed when we left. Such a fun time and the designs were amazing and the music was perfect to each theme. Maybe spiced cider instead of margaritas next time! Worth the wait.

We met with longtime friends for lunch at the Bistro, dining in a nice room with about 5 tables. The food was phenomenal! The service was special, making for a very memorable occasion. We did not have time to visit the gardens or gift shop, but plan to return so we don't miss the rest of this unique place.

Even though I'm a long time Tucsonan this was my first visit. This time of year is a great time to go. Many flowers in bloom and the weather was fairly mild. Plenty of trails both paved and unpaved. Plants are well marked so that it is easy to learn about them. Visit lasted around 1.5 hours. Didn't visit the Bistro. Planning to return to the gift shop/nursery in the future to but a few plants I want to add to my yard.
