The British Choice

My mother wanted mincemeat and luckily I was able to find it at the British Choice for a fraction of the cost of the other big box online stores. Unfortunately when I paid with Paypal it converted the shipping address to mine instead of my mother's. I contacted the store and Sue was very helpful with getting the correct address for shipping, shipped the same day and delivered the following day. My mother is very happy and they did a wonderful job of packing to make sure the product arrived safely. Wonderful experience and will use for any of my mother's future needs.

We received a package as a gift and loved the all the snacks inside. It contained assorted cookies and candies. They all were great. We are from Big Spring tx and never had heard of this place. I definitely do recommend this place to anyone looking for great snacks.

I have placed many orders from here over the past few years, particularly in the colder months. I love being able to order UK products that I cannot get elsewhere, fresh/dry and Frozen. Always well packaged and arrives timely.

Nice selection will definitely return.

I LOVE this store!! Prices are a little steep, but it's well worth it! It was a little bit of my childhood to see and purchase all the things I had forgotten about.

I love shopping here, the staff are so nice and friendly. I come here for a similar taste experience to Canadian foods. Monster Munch and all the chocolate are my favorite.

My family were Irish immigrants, and I've spent a lot of time in Ireland and the UK, and this is perfect comfort food!

This is my preferred source for IRN BRU. There are other places in Katy where it is available but none of those offer the friendly, courteous service I always receive at The British Choice.

I love this place. Our family lived in England for 7 years and it was a blast from the past to see the candy & snacks we enjoyed all those years ago. If you've ever lived in England you have to check this place out.

This is my first time making a review for you guys… I’m not from the UK but I am very interested in the authenticity and ethnic foods… It’s a dream to take my family to the UK.. I’ve been a customer 2 years now I came in to buy sausages to make home made bangers and mash and it came out amazing I was proud of my self lol and tried some of your pastries and I did enjoy them very much. I also come in time to time to get IRN BRU I’m addicted to that stuff so is my wife. I just made a recent purchase of Christmas crackers so it will be our first time trying it with our kids. I’m no expert in what to judge on these things but I love it all I’m happy about is that your store is enough to have the feel that I’m experiencing the UK… GOD BLESS YOU ALL

I was very pleasantly satisfied with the selection of authentic goods from the U.K. The prices were more than fair and the employees were welcoming and helpful. There are a lot of food brands native to the U.K. so if you are searching for authentic then this is your place to come. They also have other items as well that would make fantastic gifts. Even if you are curious I'd I'd reccomend you drop in a take a look. I didn't feel rushed or pushed to buy anything and that goes a long way these days. I highly recommend this establishment!!!!

We love popping into The British Depot and stocking up on snacks!

They have a great selection of British staples. From frozen pies, scones, crumpets, bacon and even Detol! Plus all the sweets & chocolates that you could want!

I got a lovely biscuit tin on my last trip!

I had been into the Katy store when visiting my sister a year ago. They have a great selection and good prices. I was craving some sweets and placed an order online. The box arrived on time and was packaged so wonderfully that all my chocolate was cold when it arrived, even coming from Texas to Colorado in the middle of summer. Definitely recommend!

Lovely shop, a wide array of UK products not easily found in the U.S. We were able to find a Christmas pudding at the last moment! Plus we bought other treats to enjoy. Highly recommended

I'm a big fan of British products, especially British chocolate. There's a British store in the Rice Village area, but that's a long drive so it's awesome to finally have a British store close to home! This shop is small, but doesn't lack in products. The prices are fair and service is great. Consider me a new customer!
