We live right next to an HEB supercenter but drove 20 mins to check this out! Parking lot was FULL and busy maybe because this just opened. Inside was quite busy especially produce section was crowded. Checkout counters were moving fast so not much of a wait there. Specials were great. Some selections and brands reminded me of Fiesta. Maybe HEB is wanting to complete with Fiesta. We will likely visit once a month or so for the specials.

This place is awesome with very good pricing. This will definitely take customers away from a lot of the other grocery stores. They just don't have fresh seafood, but there is frozen seafood with all the meats. Will definitely be back.

Update 2/112024: Been back and still no change. Great shopping with great pricing. It is always tight inside though. The amount of people is crazy but still I shop there.

Wow! Most of the items in this store are so much cheaper than anywhere else!
E.g. Nature's Own Butter Bread at Kroger is around $4.39....but at Joe V's it was only around $2.75.
Milk at Kroger is $3.29, at Joe V's...$2.39....etc...etc...
They also have the best totally fresh (still warm) bread rolls that people stand in line for. Genuine French bread rolls....no chemical smell or taste like in many other stores.
The only thing missing are organic veggies.

The prices are really worth the drive for us. There are many other locations throughout Houston though.
We bought an air fryer for $30 ...awesome deal.

I absolutely love this grocery store. The prices are so much cheaper for the same HEB products, which is very helpful with today's inflation. The store is clean, easy to navigate, and the check out lines move quickly. So far, my favorite product is the mango cake which is found in the bakery section. The store does not carry everything I regularly buy but it has enough that I could do most of my weekly shopping here.

I'm glad they opened this place here. The price is much more affordable compared to Walmart.

This is a great store concept, in between the size of HEB and a Neighborhood Walmart it has a good selection of groceries at affordable prices. The best part is that it has a lot of HEB brands which saves you from going a few miles up or down the road to the closest one. It was incredibly packed right after it first opened but it's gotten less crazy lately especially as more cashiers are available. Pretty pleased, would only ask for them to bring over certain food
products that are found at HEB only.

First time I shopped at Joe V's and I loved it. I absolutely know I saved money to the tune of $50. or more! The store is light, bright, clean with nice wide isles. I will definitely return, and I've told my friends I've seen while out and about...

Nice sale. First time going there i couldn’t get a parking spot. Took me about 20 minutes to check out. I love the store it has lost of items for low price.

Somewhat limited selection of brands and variations, but that is to be expected with it being billed as a lower priced store. Prices did seem to be somewhat lower than H‑E‑B on a lot of the same items. Still, a good selection and you should find just about every regular item you are looking for.

The store is great,but the prices are going up and up, when recwntly open the prices wrre excelent,but now is to expensive. They should lower the price if store wants to have more people.

First time at this new location in Katy. Store is like a super Store but as always I was pleasantly surprised at checkout when I was $10 under budget and had added items not even on my list. There is ample parking and quick checkout.

Joe V’s just opened today. I went to visit a little earlier and it didn’t disappoint at all. I’m very pleased with the price and products, especially the meats. Just a little heads up it’s extremely busy today and so much traffic inside and outside. I’ll definitely shop here often and whoever is in charge of the marketing department is brilliant! I’m very impressed.

I loved shopping at the houston location, but honestly, this katy location doesn't even compare to that one. There is great pricing for meats! Personally, for me, I wouldn't shop here unless it was to stock up on meats. I can't complain about anything, though. The store is clean, organized, and well staffed.

I really like the store. I know it just opened and the crowd will hopefully subside in the coming weeks. Only real recommendation is the tortillas by the milk are stacked too high. 2 bags rolled down the pyramid stack of tortillas hitting me as I walked past. I picked them up and set them aside, but a small child could have been injured. Just be aware.

Great selection of fresh vegetables and fruits. The place was clean and well organized and the checkout was quick.

The Grand Opening was spectacular. They had great deals on everything and the staff that work there are phenomenal.

Pros: incredible prices. Cons: too crowded, no parking space, no shop carts. Staff is very helpful and friendly, specially Alejandra is awesome, she is my favorite.

Just happened to drive past and saw it was packed because it just opened this week. Avocados 8 for $1, bollios 8 for $1, bananas 3lb/$1. Would recommend getting it while it’s good
