The best liquor store at Peabody North Shore . Great prices. Very friendly and experience staff. Keith is very knowledgeable person and great guy with perfect communication skills

This is my regular liquor store. Kappy's is the stalwart crown jewel of 114. The employees are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Their selection is very good. If they don't have something you need, they can order it.
Donna, the Friday and Saturday wine tasting host is very helpful in finding you for a bottle to bring for a dinner party or (in my case) when your wife gives you very vague instructions about what she wants to drink tonight.
While Total Wine does have a wider selection, I don't think it's meaningfully wider. Kappy's has nearly everything necessary to make any cocktail you want with some fairly obscure exceptions. Pre-pandemic, they hosted cocktail classes. Those were great. I would love to see the cocktail classes come back.

I have a friend visiting salem for some witchy events this fall. Staying at a local hotel and i wanted to get them something nice for their stay. I spoke to Rick at Kappy’s and he help me navigate the online ordering. It arrived within 2 hours of ordering! Well done Kappys! Great customer service!

Good prices. Wide variety. And if they don't have it just ask if they can order it. I think in the 25+ years shopping here they have only told me no to ordering 2x because whatever company didn't ship to Massachusetts

My first time at Peabody Kappys, went to Crystal Skull Vodka signing with Dan Aykroyd . It was a blast.

Called all over the Northshore looking for a hard to find Whiskey. Total Wine hasn't had it in 8 weeks. No place had it. Even drove to the NH State Store - saw one guy walking around with a bottle and he said he found it on a shelf misplaced. Turns out they found a stray bottle in back, just put it out and he won the lotto right in front of me. Anyway, I finally called Kappys and low and behold they had a huge stock I mean cases on display. Bought 3 bottles this morning for Christmas gifts. I and everyone on my list will be very happy. I never thought I'd review a liquor store, but the service here was quite outstanding! When I couldn't find the beer I was looking for they acutally called the distributor to find out it was seasonal and is no longer being produced. I was also searching for a specific cocktail which appeared to be out, but an employee checked if a new shipment had come in and it had- score! Truly amazing customer service.

Well stocked and had what I wanted. Got in and out quick.

Support local !!!!! Best selection and the very best staff! My ONLY go to , Donny helped me out getting a special “signed” bottle of wine for a friend, I couldn’t thank him enough! He humbly shrugged it off saying “no big deal”, but it was HUGE for my friend! Donny is a true gentleman and a true asset to your company. Also Sara is fantastic with a vast knowledge of craft beer, and is always happy to answer any questions you may have with a smile ! All other employees greet me with a “hey how’s it going” every time I come in ! You just don’t get that a the big box stores.

As a craft beer nut, I've been here periodically over the past few months, and seen their craft beer selection increase in size and quality on a massive scale. A good selection of beers from Night Shift, Finback, Singlecut, and Toppling Goliath is almost always there. The service is excellent, with friendly employees, and a great returnables department - they take anything, even if they don't sell it. The main part of the store was recently re ovated to be clean, welcoming, and we'll organized. Keep up the great work, and I will continue to come for more great beer!

Called ahead to check to see if something was in stock, the service representative was super nice and helpful and a delight to speak to. The in-store personal were also very nice and helpful.

Good selection of beer and spirits with a deeper selection than you typically find at liquor stores in town, ie hard to find craft beers like Lawson sip of sunshine and some rye whiskey that I don't normally see.

Reasonable prices, easy location to find across from the North shore mall and a good sized parking lot.

Kappys always has what I need, even when I think the product is no longer available. They always have a wide variety of new products. Love shopping here.

As far as liquor stores go, I have long preferred Kappy's when I have specific needs and have the time to drive there. The prices are good (some places may have one or two items for cheaper, but across the board Kappy's has consistently good prices) and the selection is among the best in the state. Even Total Wine doesn't beat the selection of good bourbons and craft beers. The staff there are knowledgeable and helpful.

Kappy's has a massive selection of fine spirits! And their beer selection is untouchable. They always have what im looking for and the lines are quick. Taste testing around the weekends is also a plus!
