So many spices and blends! And there are always specials; today I got 1/4 jar of coriander and 1/2 jar of Chili 9000 for $1! You can't beat that price!

They have such a great selection of spices to choose from and if you sign up for their emails they consistently have deals. Although I love going in the store, their online order has been so simple. You order, you pay, they call when it’s ready (which usually if I order before they open it takes less than 20 minutes for my order to be fulfilled) and you pick it up. The people who left bad reviews about not being able to shop in store need to get a life-it’s literally so simple.

The employees were Very knowledgeable, professional, warm, and courteous. Prices were very reasonable. Atmosphere was very pleasant. It felt good being in the store again. Missed the one on West 25th.

You will definitely find what you're looking for here! Prices are good. The store is attractively set up. Something from the store would make a great gift for the cook. I was looking for a specific cinnamon from a specific country and they had it plus additional choices! Smells great!

Wonderful selection of spices. Salespeople were very knowledgeable and helpful in helping me to pick out exactly what I needed. If you like to cook, or even just like to eat, you'll really appreciate the quality spices available and how they'll make any recipe much better!

Gem of a store! Any spice you are looking for they are sure to have! Their curbside pick up is much faster than the 24 hour turn around time that they post. I have been using their spices long before they had local stores. Spices are fresh and delicious! I highly recommend!

Best spices ever! I stock up at least quarterly since I cook at home almost exclusively. Grocery store spices and herbs don't compare. They may appear more expensive at first but they are better quality so you use less. It ends up about the same price for way better quality.

Great selection and friendly staff, they have jars of the spices you can smell and im guessing buy in smaller quantities. Definitely worth checking out if you like to bake and cook, I have a variety of their cinnamon spices and it is amazing with bannana breads and other baked goods

Since Whole Foods stopped carrying bulk ground ginger, I needed a new source since I take it for my vertigo. I decided to stop in and check out Penzeys. The sales person was very kind and attentive and I appreciated the store discounts when you purchase more than one pack of a particular spice. Their China Ground Ginger looked good and when I got it home the aroma was amazing. I mixed it in my smoothly and there was that wonderful heat at the end of each sip. I will definitely be purchasing my ground ginger at Penzey’s from now on.

Before the pandemic, they used to have open jars of every spice for your smelling pleasure. That practice ended. Each of the sales clerks wore a mask although they weren't allowing customers inside. While standing outside their door, they accepted my order for instant pick up although they're busy filling previous Internet and phone orders.

They have every just about spice and spice mixture you'd need unless it's an uncommon ethnic spice. (Fortunately, Cleveland has a varied ethnic community and ethnic-specific grocers.)

Always gets my mouth watering thinking about what I will cook with their spices. Huge selection and variety of herbs and spices. Makes you never want to buy grocery store spices again! Freindly, helpful staff.

This has to be the most fun place to shop for spices. I have NEVER seen a selection anywhere that compares to Penzey's ! I always find one I need or dont need but have to have just to try something different or pass along to someone who enjoys cooking and baking. Cute boxes to make up some favorites or something unique for gift giving. Reasonably priced for a specialty shop - yes, even for a cheapie like me. Clerks are always pleasant. Recipe cards around the store for your taking, featuring certain spices. Other odds and ends to catch your attention and shopping basket 🤗

Wide selection of herbs and spices. Came in looking for fenugreek, left with all kinds of crazy stuff! Hot cocoa mix was divine.

The quality of the spices is great and it makes a noticeable difference. Some can be expensive but some are less expensive than in a grocery store. They have varieties of many spices and you can smell them to find what you want. Try that in a grocery store!
