Mrs. Jeanette is the best! The website was completely inaccurate. I was super frustrated that I drove all the way there for nothing. However, she went out of her way to make things right and find something that I could walk away with that was comparable. She made everything right and I really appreciate it. A-1 service!!!

This big lots is always clean and organized! The staff is helpful, they stop what they are doing to assist or find assistance. The bathroom is always neat, because I don't assume how clean a public bathroom is, but it's never nasty.

Greeted as soon as we walked in. People on the floor (although only 1) greeted us and offered assistance. Was a slow day for them, offering 20% off which we took full advantage of. The store was neat and clean. Since they renovated the store they have really taken pride in the store. Love coming here for odds and ends in the food Dept (you never know what you may find) .

What a Great Place! Went in the night before my delivery ,to let someone know I was there and where could I park! Met the young female manager and got information from her I needed! Shopped a little and met Loretta, the cashier ,on way out!! Very Polite and pleasant Ladies!!! Wish I delivered to Big Lots More often!!! Thank You!!

Of all the Big Lots stores in the Hampton Roads area, this one is my favorite. It's spacious, amazing sales abound and a huge array of furniture on display to pick from. Not to mention all sorts of patio and yard items, plus a plethora of spices and interesting condiments to peruse.

The employees are helpful and efficient, eager to help you find whatever you are shopping for. Definitely not a high-end store; however, a great store if you are a bargain hunter.

Best place to buy. I bought twin size mattress and box spring at a sales price and Sales Manager, April was the best.

April helps to process sale, load into car and courteous.

How much more customer service do you need? Go to Big Lot on SOUTH Military Highway to buy in Chesapeake and ask for April.

I DIDNT GOT IN THERE FOR MUCH. WAS LOOKING FOR SOME CURTAINS FOR MY KITCHEN. WHICH O DODNT SEE NONE O HAD LIKED. WINED UP BUYING A FEW THINGS AMD MRS. ROXIE WAS MY CHECK OUT PERSON. SHE WAS SO FRIENDLY AND KIND. SHE GREETED ME WITH PLEASURE AND ALSO THE WHOLS EXPERIENCE WAS GOOD. I HAVE HAD CASHIER WHO HAD ATTITUDE AND ACTED LIKED THEY DIDNT WANT TO BE WORK. Great selection and prices. Well stocked and clean. Stockers could be a little more appreciative of the customers. Lets move the stock cart out of the main isle so we can see all we want to buy.

I went in to look at furniture and the lady(I wish I got her name) was the most helpful person I have ever encountered there. The cashiers were also extremely great and friendly. Overall tonight was a great experience

I always find Interesting things there. Have a card for the store if i want to charge something so i can pay on time for big items. When i lived in New Hampshire we had one up there that was handy for things.

I really enjoy shopping at Big Lots in Chesapeake, VA. They have great buys I love their furniture and houseware departments

Very helpful staff, especially furniture/mattresses. They brought the merchandise from the back out to the truck and help load it. Easy to see from the road, plenty of free parking. Right off of the Interstate. Next to a Dollar Tree, Home Emporium, and Kmart!

I love this damn place.

First of all, you never quite know what you're gonna get here. They get all sorts of random food, furniture, household items, toys, goodies, and weird stuff that you could go there every day off the week and there will still be something new. However, because of that if you see something you like, you'd better grab it.

I spend entirely too much here buying food. Snacks from other countries. Random drinks. Candies you've never seen before and will never see again. Sooooooo many cookies... Ugh. Stay out of the food. It's a trap. It's all good and you'll get fat. The staff are great too, except they'll just laugh when you claim that you totally didn't mean to buy all of this as you're checking out.

They do have their own little furniture section, probably reselling something from Ashley Furniture like every place else in Hampton Roads, but I've never really bought much more from that section than a rug and some throw pillows. Housewares has a lot of little tiny appliances (think blenders, microwaves, cake-pop makers), dishes, bakeware, bathroom decor, just a little bit of everything really. They do have children's toys and an electronics section than kept my nephews and niece entertained, but unless you get lucky you're not really going to see anything exceptionally high-end.

Really, it's just a fun spot to browse for hidden treasures and goodies you really don't neeeeeed, but that you can totally justify buying in discount.

Recently remodeled store. Very clean and well stocked. Some stuff is a pretty good deal but others not so much. I like to go when they have their 20 percent off everything sales.

Went to get curtains , and they had them. The employees were eager to help us locate the curtains. They took us right to where we need to be. Good prices , nice employees.
