Looks like most of the negative reviews are due to issues with pharmacy. In terms of washroom cleanliness, store aisle and parking lot maintenance, looks like all three are well maintained. I don’t deal too much with the staff here. They let me be and let me shop. Once in a while I would see the assist manager come out and help with the register.

I have been to many Walgreens. I have never had such an amazing experience. I have sick kids at home and order something’s for delivery I was updating saying they delivered though nothing was there. Called and my order was still there the woman apologize and hand delivered my thing to my house. Just amazing.

Bought a stuffed animal and the tag said 12.99 but the lady said it was 19.99. I showed her where they were and she still said it’s “19.99” even though they clearly said $12.99 on the tag. She said the tag was the wrong tag but there were several more stuffed animals sitting there. Pretty rude to me about it and I still paid because I thought it was a cute stuffed animal but if they are going to stock something incorrectly and still charge a higher price then they advertised that’s pretty wrong. I was nice about it because I’m not gonna be mean but she was pretty rude about the whole thing and acted like I was dumb for even asking.

I understand the convenience of it being a corner store, plus easy parking, and it's a business to make money, but they are ripping people of on standard over the counter medication.

Example:
A bottle of NyQuil was $18.99, and Target had the same medication and bottle size for $8.99. I understand a 10%-15% price increase to other stores but 40%-50% in wrong. Times are difficult with money.

I had an absolutely horrendous experience at Walgreens recently, and it's all thanks to one particular younger asian male pharmacist who clearly needs a crash course in customer service. I was at the window, desperately trying to provide my son's insurance information. I politely asked the pharmacist to hold on for a moment as I tried to obtain the necessary details.

Instead of showing an ounce of patience, this pharmacist decided to switch the phone to his colleague. But hold on, it gets worse. He abruptly took the phone back from her and declared that I should come back tomorrow because they were closing. Never mind the fact that I was there well before closing time.

As someone working in the health industry, this pharmacist should be well aware of the importance of empathy and understanding, especially when dealing with patients. What if the medication I needed was for a sickly patient? The complete lack of sympathy and the rude attitude displayed were absolutely unacceptable. I expected better service, and it's disheartening to see such behavior in a healthcare setting. I strongly advise against dealing with this particular pharmacist.

Long story short, the employees here couldn't find me in their computer system, so they "fixed" the situation by linking my information to another person's . . . a person who lives in Florida. In the process, they gave me access to the Florida man's health information. What they did was so idiotic--"I can't find you in our system, so I'll take this person in Florida with a different birthdate and different insurance and merge his information with yours"--it's mind boggling. I reported this HIPAA violation to the federal government and later received a letter telling me one of the employees had been "sanctioned," employees had been retrained, and the person in Florida received a letter alerting him to the data breach.

This pharmacy keeps on disappointing. Came to pick up a Rx and was at the window by 5 on Saturday and they wouldn’t attend me. Hours stayed open sundays at the drive thru so I made no big deal came back on Sunday only to see they are closed SMH. They need to update the hours. Now I need to wait half a day for another pharmacy to fill my prescription.

The pharmacy staff here is ignorant and has no customer service skills whatsoever! I’m sitting here in the drive through and there isn’t a line inside or outside and they are sitting here looking at me laughing and walking past the window! If you’re not taking customers just say something.

The service in the pharmacy is a disaster. I have been using this Walgreens in Beach Park for many years. It has been on the decline for a long time. The turnover of employees in the pharmacy is frequent. Pharmacy hours change without warning. Terrible service because the employees are overworked. I do not want to change but I have no other choice. Just cannot put up with the aggravation.

If I could give -5 stars I would I honestly in heart feel this is the worse Walgreens pharmacy I have ever encountered. It’s so sad how they conduct themselves they are completely rude. I never seen a pharmacy that allows patients to pull through the drive thru and wait for the prescription to get ready while other patients sit behind and wait. It’s so sad o just waited over 30 mins. I will continue to send my prescriptions to Wisconsin instead of next door to my home.
