Next Door Store

The store is always busy and always clean. They have a bathroom when you need it. Open 24 hours. I was here tonight Sunday night to Monday October 10th on the midnight shift. Josh was a cashier. He was cleaning the store the entire time yet very attentive! He made visit even better.

Female cashier is a rude person! Can’t wait to frequent the place just to go outta my way to irritate her😆

Convenience Store

Had what we needed.

It's hard to find gas stations open in the UP and area, this one is open 24hrs. The restrooms were find, cashier and service were fine. We bought snacks and got back on the road. The drink station was not working but gas was the most important- buy a bottled drink.

I mean, it's a tiny little place and the prices are a bit higher than you'd like (similar to most convenience stores). But it was close to our campsite and the workers we encountered were very friendly.

Literally bought cigarettes here the past 2 weeks from at least 3 staff then I come in yesterday and different worker. Would not sell to me because my ID is barely expired (new one ordered and in mail) and clearly I'm 37 years old . Claims she "will lose her job" and yet everyone else is still employed. Other gas station rolled their eyes at that and had NO issues. Get rid of the uptight cashier. 3 stars because everyone else is professional!

a little bit dirty but I'm just thankful they are open 24 hrs or id be screwed without gas. Friendly employees and fast service.

Nice big parking lot, but there are giant pot holes around the backside, so if pulling a trailer be extra careful. Fuel prices are higher here.

OMG people, this is a convenience store. BP gas stations put "food mart" on a lot of their buildings. When you saw Marathon gas on your Google maps, you should have know. Good for quick and simple ratio s (gallon of milk [pricey], candy, beer, pop [less that the market], etc.

Ummm... I think they could do a lot better. Sorry not sorry.

They never ordered their top sellers. They always have extra of the non selling stuff. First day there's stock is gone for two months big AZ burgers always gone first half day until next week.. they have cat burritos from Miguel...lol that take forever to move..

The name should be next door convince store. Not food store. Lol while on vacation we walked over from the baymont inn without looking at any other options solely based on the name. Definitely not a "food store". If you're in need of an actual grocery store go right down the street to the mackinaw family market.

Cashier was so rude. We wouldn't stop telling the other cashier a story dropping the f bomb like it was nothing. Used her own personal rewards card without asking if I had my own. Sash was the worst cashier I have ever dealt with. I wanted to by more product behind the counter but she wouldn't stop cussing long enough for me to even ask a question. I highly suggest you go somewhere else to get your gas station needs

If I could give no or negative stars I would have. I was on vacation, when my kid started throwing up. So on the search for ginger ale went, in. Cashier barely would look at me when I'm asking for warm ginger ale. Opened it up ( I was going to purchase more items) when she yelled across store that I couldn't open the product. I told her I was just trying to get it to start going flat. So instead of getting myself a 2 am snack while I've been up for 2 hours with a puking child. I checked out and left. She was extremely rude through entire process. I called back wanting to know her name because I will be calling tomorrow to speak to a supervisor about incident and she refused to give name. THEN threatened to have me banned!! I'm a tourist!!! Ok ban me see if I care. What a piece of work. She apparently has witnesses... To me opening and buying a ginger ale 2 liter for my kid at 2 am! Will be contacting corporate as well.

They never have enough people working and lose track of customers in line, allowing other customers ahead of those who have been waiting. My advice is to stop in St Ignace or Cheboygan on your way into the city and save yourselves frustration.

Dirty. Staff worry more about getting their own drinks etc. Never any workers.
