All the reviews are pretty accurate. They should have everything you need at a resort town price. Nice store with friendly and helpful service.

Have shopped here for years while either camping in the area or heading to the cabin in da U.P. eh! Love their meat counter. Great meats, fair prices and they even cut and weigh it while you watch. They have a little bit of everything, even fresh vegetables. Not sure how they pack that much in the space they have but they do it well. If they don't have it you probably don't need it. 😄

Lots of people in and about Mackinac City today because of the Holiday and Bridge Walk. We stopped off here as it was close to where the car was parked. We picked up a couple of snack items for the drive back home. The store staff were very friendly, even with all the extra people today!!!

A great little grocery store with all the essentials. If you're needing something in town this is definitely the place to go.

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised with this Store. We expected it to be overpriced and uppity. But instead we found reasonable prices, and decent selection. Family owned feel.. I am actually not sure who owns or managed the store. But all-in-all, nice to stop and get camping food. They also make their own sausages.

pricey, but thats to be expected. staff is always nice and the store is convenient when you forget an ingredient for dinner. 🩷

Best last minute shopping store, right off the expressway! They have nearly everything in a convenient layout.

This is a popular place, so be aware that near closing time and heavy shopping times, the checkout line can be quite long.
Staff works very dilligently to get everyone out fast ( there are only two check out lanes).

A little bit of everything! This small market has food, alcoholic beverages, grilling supplies, red flashlights for the dark sky park and a great deli. Serviced checkouts are a bonus so no fuss trying to check yourself out! Lots of locally made brands to support our economy as well. ATM located inside the store.
Ask at checkout if you need a battery for your camera & they will unlock the display for you to choose!

I wish I knew about this market before I started buying things I need in the island. Not as over priced as the other stores.

great little store meat prices are great for area or really any area . Top notch bone in the butt and some of the best bratwurst i have ever had. Store is always stocked real nice and staff if very polite. Store manage Greg is very good at what he does. keep up the great work

Great little place to shop. Good beer, wine and liquor selection, and they make their own brats, with many flavors. They have everything you would need on the go

You're invited to the neighbor's for dinner. Wonderful! Foolishly,because good manners are automatic with you, you blurt out "May I bring anything?" "Don't be silly,you're our guest!" comes the reply. Soon to follow? "Oh,now that I think of it, no one remembered to do anything about (choose one) a salad/dessert/limes for the G&Ts. Do you mind terribly? " Thanks to The Mackinaw Family Market you can honestly answer "Of course not!". Mere minutes away,the MFM stands ready to make you look like a hero or heroine to your hosts by selling you things. Good things. Dinner party appropriate things. Conveniently located at the corner of Central and Something. Hours change with the seasons. But the staff is reliably friendly as well as professional.

We love this little store! It's like our hometown grocery store - they have a little bit of everything. You do pay a little more for the convenience but, that's acceptable to us considering the stores location, size, and helpful staff. Masks are required!
