Holiday Inn Express Mackinaw City, an IHG Hotel

Jonah at the front desk was incredibly helpful with my reservation of a pet friendly room. He advised me how to book my reservation for the best rate possible, ensured I was aware of the additional fee for my pet, and was polite and easy to talk to. Thrilled to receive good phone customer service, which is rare anymore.

Excellent hotel . Went way above expectations for a budget hotel . Immaculately clean and very friendly staff. The complimentary breakfast options were great, lots of quality options. Only stayed one night, but definitely will stay here again next time I'm in the area

Loved our king suite. Very nice and clean. Comfy beds, nice bathroom facilities with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the big bottle size.

Breakfast was yummy with great choices, but food temperature needs to be hotter. From the time I put my food onto my plate to putting it on the table (2 minutes to get my coffee), it was barely warm.

Can’t go wrong with a Holiday Inn Express. I wanted to go somewhere cheaper but my wife wanted to come here, really glad we did! Clean and modern. Wished they weren’t booked so we could’ve stayed here the rest of our vacation. We actually talked to a local in Mackinaw City, and he told us this hotel is known as the best one in the area.

We booked 2 rooms here last week staying 4 nights and 5 days with family for 4 adults. Our rooms were 4th floor with balconies. This hotel is lovely and renovations were happening on the first floor during our stay to make it even better. We did not experience ANY construction noise or inconvenience as the crews were very accommodating to sleep hours and not interrupting that for guests. We enjoyed the wonderful weather and being able to have our balcony doors and windows open with a view of the water and the bridge. This hotel was full and has exceptional sound proofing as I am super sensitive to noise and a light sleeper and we did not hear any other guests, traffic noise from the bridge, or construction noise during our stay. Our housekeeper Mary took excellent care of us during our stay. This hotel is convenient to restaurants and activities and has laundry services available on the first floor. We will definitely stay here again.

The best hotel in Mackinaw City, open all year round, nice pool, friendly staff, decent breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms , we had one with a great view of the Mackinac Bridge. Also walking distance to so many great shops and restaurants We'll definitely be back!

My family and I were very happy with our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful! The beds were comfy and not too firm which I loved! Our room was very clean which was also great! The breakfast was awesome and the pool was warm, my kids had the best time. Location was great also! We would definitely stay here again!!

Went here a couple years ago and it was a great hotel to stay. Nice pool. Convenient location. We had a great room with a fireplace and nice view of the bridge.

Cleaning staff was top notch. Breakfast was good with enough variety for all. Location was great to get to things that you wanted to do.

This is an amazing hotel with an even better staff. Rooms are clean, house keepers are the best. And the front desk staff was very helpful.

I loved my stay here. Room was super clean and nice. So many added things like USB plugs , large shampoo, conditioner and soap in the shower. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. All the workers were professional and friendly .

We stayed in August for a nearby wedding. Prices were high for peak season... what do you do. Comfortable room, friendly staff, and decent breakfast. I'd stay again, preferably off peak.

Super very luxury place, so so sweet and romantic place and near the beach!!!! Great service and quality for sure of comfort, great rooms.

The Holiday Inn in Mackinaw City, MI was a treat! Friendly desk staff and extremely clean rooms. The beds had a wonderful pillow top mattress that was so comfy and the sheets were soft and luxurious. The breakfast buffet was well organized and had a very nice variety. It is very conveniently located within minutes of the beautiful Mackinaw Bridge. We would definitely stay there again! Good pool and sauna. The pool is deep, so good for jumping in after spending time in the sauna.

Great location right before the bridge to the upper peninsula. Room was clean and spacious! All the amenities needed for an overnight stay! I am an IHG member and have not been disappointed in any of their properties! I have stayed at nicer hotels but they were much more expensive. Great value for the price. Highly recommend 💚 💯💯

Simple, clean, and nice staff. Our first floor room with two full size beds was nice. Had a larger mini fridge, and ceiling fan was quiet and pleasant to have. The pool was warm and enjoyable. The hot tub was very relaxing, but a little warmer than I like. The sauna was spacious well kept. The breakfast area is spacious and the food diverse.

I honestly don’t have anything to complain about. Our room was clean & nice. Seems like they have done some recent updating. I’d stay here again!
