Bargains Of Mackinaw City

I've been their every year for the past 3 years visiting from Grand Rapids. Brought family n friends their. Never had any issues with any of the shirts and sweatshirts peeling on us. I LOVE this store. Very reasonable and very nice staff and helpful too. Thumbs up from me. 👍

I absolutely LOVE store! Great selections and prices. I went back to this store after shopping on the Island for 2 days.

Was visiting on vacation, 4 hours away from home.
My boyfriend noticed an employee following us around the store and looking me up and down, I had absolutely no sense of this nor did I notice until she followed us outside, tugged on my arm and verbatim said,

"Can you- Can I- Give- Can you give- Oh... Can you- my boss said you took something. Can you give it back?"

I thought this woman was stroking out on the sidewalk-

I was confused and shocked, my boyfriend attempted to pull me away (because we know we didn't take anything) but I voluntarily and loudly emptied my pockets and my small backpack (that never left my back). Needless to say, they did not indicate or state what I had 'stolen.'
And until I OFFERED (was never asked) to prove that I in fact had not taken anything, the owner was allegedly on his way over to 'deal with me' as well as the threat of police.

We were in there browsing for 5 minutes, had no interest in the abstractly hung "I love sl*ts" shirts, made our way out and was accused of being a thief on the sidewalk. Makes me wish I would've actually stole something to make the who experience worth mentioning.

Stupid. Absolutely no apology, owner remained hidden and 'unavailable' when I attempted to call and speak with him.

I'll never shop there or the other establishments that he owns, such as Mackinaw Outfitters.

Just be aware, it looks like this has happened to others.

SKIP THIS PLACE! I bought a shirt and the person putting my design on was on her phone. Then she put the design to where the words were rolling off and going off the hoodie. She then preceded to say it was our Daly’s and we should have not washed it. I said I didn’t so then she sent me to a different store. They got it fixed so they were so much better.

If I could give 0 I would. My wife purchased a shirt for me from there brought it home and I noticed it was peeling on the sublimation. I immediately called and was told that I shouldn’t of washed which I told her I didn’t. She took my number and said that her boss would call! Never called. I have called once since then and got the same response. THIS PLACE SUCKS!!

We just bought clothing from this place and they do not have a dressing room. After purchasing it and trying it on, it of course didn’t fit right so we tried returning it and they don’t accept returns, the pricing is to high and to low to match anything for a exchange without spending more money or losing money. If you’re going to not have a fitting room, accept returns. This is not how you run a business.

While browsing threw the kids t shirts I noticed that I was being hovered. Like staring me down. Every rack, every step I took I could have tripped over this women. I didnt think anything of it until I approached the register area and the women was an employee. A couple other families were also shopping however I was the chosen one to be hawked. I left my items and did not make a purchase.

I agree with John Kruse. Called 4 times trying to exchange an item that was too small. I was told the manager would call me, but they never did. I went ahead and mailed the item back with a letter asking to please exchange for a larger size. Never received a response. I give this place a negative 0.

Skip this place. You can't wash the clothing or the graphics will come right off. Complete waste of money.
