Walmart Supercenter

Nice Walmart! One of the cleanest and well stocked stores I’ve been in. 6:00AM and it was busy with the stockers making sure everything is well stocked for the day’s business. Friendly service and friendly staff!

Good Prices! I really just go there to see what different shirts and hoodies they have. I come out lucky too lol.

Best Walmart in Atlanta and the surrounding area.
I live in Jonesboro and come to this Walmart when at my Morjers home in Atl. The Lovejoy/Hampton Walmart is close to me. I hate that store the employees are rude! So I wait to come to the Howell Mill Rd store or go to Target near me.
This Walmart on Howell Mill Road has friendly employees who help and always greet you with a smile. I have been coming to this store for more than 10 years.
I have only had 2 incidents occur, both times the issue was resolved to my satisfaction.
The pharmacy is the best! All employees are super friendly and quick to help.
If this Walmart closes permanently I will have a hard time getting my Mother in and out of any other store in the surrounding area. Parking is hard in Atlanta and the commute will be difficult for her. She is 93.
I hope you will consider keeping this Walmart available and reopening.
This store is great for the GA Tech students, and families living close to Howell Mill Road.
There is a senior citizen complex about a block away on Wednesday they are brought to this Walmart.
Additionally, it is close to a busy expressway I-78/85 allowing travelers to get the essentials needed on their trips.
Lastly, the covered parking decks are wonderful! Especially when raining. It's nice to be able to get my mother in and out of handicapped shopping carts. She doesn't get wet and neither do I. I can take my time getting her in and out of my vehicle it provides comfort to her.
In closing, I would like to add that the citizens surrounding the area of Howell Mill Road will be appreciative if you consider keeping this store open.

We flew into ATL from out of town placed a Grocery pickup order we expected to pick up by 9pm. Our flight delayed and we didn't arrive at Walmart until 10:20. Their Grocery Pickup dept was already closed. ROBERT, the manager on duty was so kind to help me, he patiently scoured the back to find our order and worked with another team member to get us our order. We sincerely appreciated his kindness and compassion in helping us with our pickup as we had a 2 hr drive ahead of us. Thank you Robert and the night team for your kindness. You are appreciated 💛

Good for groceries with large parking lots

Date of Visit : Saturday Afternoon of 09/05/15 --

The experience I had with the staff in the bakery department and electronics was actually a great one. I typically despise Walmart's level of customer service, but I must give credit where it is due. Eric, the young man in electronics, went above and beyond to help me locate an item. Even though the store was currently out of stock of the item, Eric did his best to provide alternatives--he even checked other stores in the area for me. While helping me, he still acknowledged other customers and told them he'd be with them in a moment--he was very professional, efficient, and polite.

I called the bakery 24 hours in advanced to order a cake and had scheduled the pick-up for 12:30 p.m. the next day--it was ready when I arrived around 12:20. Forgive me, as I have forgotten the name of the associates in the bakery department, but they were wonderful. The cake was beautifully done and the party guests absolutely loved it.

The customer service was the best I've ever received at any Walmart.

The checkout process wasn't bad either. The store seemed to have been properly staffed; I checked out in about 4 minutes--not bad considering the amount of shoppers that were present.

I am not a fan of Walmart, but for these few people who made a difference, I am giving them 5 stars.

This was my first time out since I had my baby two months ago and everyone congratulated me around the store. Also, one of the managers helped me with buying a stroller! Truly a blessing and blessed day and happy I went to that particular Walmart!

I rarely go to Walmart but the employees at this Walmart were so nice and helpful that it made me want to shop here all the time. I was walking out with a big clear container and a female worker stopped me to let me know she noticed a stain on it and offered to go get me a new one while I waited. Super helpful and great expierence. Also the eye center was INCREDIBLE. Super fast and all the women in there were so sweet and genuinely caring.

Very nice Walmart; the covered parking lot was clean, employees were nice and actually interact with you, and most of the shelves were stocked. Only dissatisfaction to me was the cluttered state of electronics section.

Initially, I was leery about shopping at such an urban location with its parking garage but my negativity was unwarranted. This Walmart is huge, fully-stocked, clean, and efficient. Also, you can't beat its location next to I-75 and minutes from Atlantic Station area.

Parking was easy in the multi level parking deck. They have a good assortment of fresh fruits and veggies. The store was clean and well organized. My cashier was probably the fastest cashier I've ever seen in my life! The is a Subway sandwich shop, vision store, and pharmacy associated with this Walmart.

There is also a strip mall with several stores including Kroger in a connected parking lot.

About a 5 minute drive from Piedmont Hospital or a 30 second drive on to I-75.

Great location, I usually find things at this location that I can't find elsewhere. However please get more of the single kiss my keto brownies in, I've grown to like these as part of my keto diet.

I want to acknowledge the Leadership team at this location. As we picked up our order, Ms. Charlene (Associate) was nothing but friendly and helpful, along with other associates that stop to ask if we needed any help or assistance when Ms. Charlene stepped away to locate our order. Also, every associate we came across was so helpful, unlike other Walmart's we have shopped in, for example, Walmart North Decatur. If you have reservations about shopping at this Walmart, I hope this clears up any droughts. I do not work for Walmart now or in the past. You do not have to worry about not finding what you're looking for at this location. What it says on the website, you will find it at the store. You do not have to worry about an associate saying the same line, " I do not know, this is not my department," even when that person is working in that department. This is an example of "GREAT LEADERSHIP." I will forever be a supporter of this location under the current leadership. I THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU DO and know you have my support.

01/11/23 update- location is said to be permanently closed due to fire damage.

Clean. Well organized and stocked. Associates were friendly and helpful. No long lines.

Nia at customer service is very good at her job knows how to truly place herself in the customers shoes while being on the job. Thinks outside the box. I had an issue with a return and out of 8 workers 2 of them managers she was the only one who solved my problem. She deserves to be a manager.

If you don't mind walking a little bit , the 2nd level of the parking deck is always empty. You can park and walk to the elevator30 feet away, or be healthy and take the stairs down to the Walmart level down below on the 1st level. {Even back in the past holiday rush this level was barely occupied. I usually managed to get one of the same 3 spaces every time I think}
It dose have security cameras for safety.

Great store, amazing staff, very helpful . All is well but the parking lot is dimly lit and a tad bit unsafe

I normally hate going to Walmart because of the service but the employees proved me wrong. I went in last night to pick up a order that I purchased on line. I was under the impression I had until 10pm to pick it up. I was told upon getting to the store that the department for pick up closed at 9 pm. I went to the the back to the department and a few associates walked by without asking if I needed help but a couple did stop and asked if I needed help but informed me that the associate at the department left at 9:30. But one associate - Joshua stopped and stated that even though that wasn't his department he would try to help me. He went above and beyond and I was able to get my purchase. He was very pleasant and did it with a smile. I feel that at times we like to accentuate and discuss our negative experiences. I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you to Joshua and tell everyone about my positive experience at Walmart!

I frequent this walmart weekly. They always have everything nice and stocked and the employees are always very nice and helpful.
