Took my disabled son here on the recommendation of other parents in the disabled community. What a great place. Staff had the sort of knowledge we'd normally only find in professional physical therapists and occupational therapists. As thoughtful and knowledgeable as you could be about fitting shoes for kids with differences in gait, posture etc. Made me think there ought to be places like this in every city.

A well-staffed store with experts at fitting kids’s shoes. Also had a good amount of inventory. Was worth the drive from DC!

More specifically, a gentleman by the name or Luca helped us and he was so incredibly knowledgeable, honest, and caring when he took care of our boys. Great service. Great selection. We’ve been here for the past two years each time our toddler needs new shoes. I used to waste time and effort trying to size him myself and buy shoes online but now we just go here.

I hope this place stays around. If you’re looking for someone to fit your child for shoes, particularly if they have odd sizes this is the spot. Wide selection of kids shoes and orthopedics. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and can help you find exactly what you want. Found this far easier than trying to figure out the correct shoe sizes and trying to buy online.

We've been coming here regularly for years. Service is excellent, our kids always get a good fit and plenty of selection to keep them happy. We're more than happy to pay store prices for real service and no foot problems from buying poorly matched shoes online.

one of the best kids shoe stores around. the staff are incredibly knowledgeable and pleasant. particularly for younger kids they make all the difference in getting children the right shoes. they also have a lot of experience with kids who have extra needs for their shoes and are great for that.

I travel specifically from Arlington to Shoe Train to buy my kids shoes. I love the service there, selection of shoes, and staff that are able to assess pronation. They provide inserts and lots of helpful advice. It can get crowded during the weekend and then there is a long wait. I get there when they just open in the morning to avoid the wait.

This place reminds me of the shoe store I went to as a kid where the staff knew my name and made sure everything was a perfect fit. I always loved going shoe shopping back then and now my kids love it the same way! Like so many other small businesses with great customer service, the store I went to as a kid shut down long ago, but Shoe Train remains a callback to a time of excellent customer service and quality products. They’ve always been nothing but kind and never made us feel rushed even when they have huge lines of ppl waiting. And everything we’ve bought from them lasts (which is amazing for kids products). They are such a treasure to have around, thank you guys!

This is a good place to buy children's shoes for everyday and dress. The employees are very helpful and measure your child's feet for accuracy and a proper fit. There's many choices of colors and styles. If you purchase shoes they keep track of the child's shoe size and after so many purchases you get a discount, I just don't remember what it was. They have a car that your child can ride when you put some change in. There's toys to keep the kids side tracked also. I've been there a few times and it was a good experience for me and my grand daughter.

We needed new shoes and I explained our unique situation with a special needs child. They were very welcoming and even brought us in this morning before the store opened and had the music off and the lights dim.

While this place might be a bit pricier than others, the shoes here are from excellent brands. My daughters are picky about their shoes and we have trouble finding some that fit their feet appropriately. The sales person today did an excellent job with my daughters and found us exactly what we needed. The other employees were also very kind. Just be aware that the store is cramped.

Had a wonderful experience buying my 9 month old her first pair of walkers! It was a comfort to know that I was going to knowledgeable people who would ensure that I got the right type of shoe and size. Traveled an hour to get there and will gladly travel back in the future!

The best kid's shoe store. The staff are knowledgeable, careful, and engaging. My son has special needs, and both my kids have wide feet, and they're always right there with advice and a selection of shoes for them to choose from.

I cannot say enough good things about Shoe Train. You will not find this kind of personalized service and expertise anywhere else. I've been coming here since my kids were babies, and now that they're older we STILL find the best selection and prices here—plus the peace of mind of knowing their shoes actually fit correctly. At any other shoe or sports store you'll stand around for hours hoping for assistance, then be lucky if you find your size, and no one will actually look at your kid's feet to see if they fit right. Shoe Train is just the best!

This store provides a wide variety of kid’s shoes to pick from. I always come to this store whenever my kids need a new pair. The staff is amazing and their service is beyond great! All the moms out there should definitely try out this store.

Excellent service by Sheila. We've bought about 8 pairs of shoes from the store over the past 3 years and have been very satisfied with the product. We had only 1 problem with a particular pair of shoes and it was fixed immediately. Thank you and we'll be coming back for as long as our son needs shoes.

I highly recommend visiting them for new walkers. Our daughter has narrow feet and while they didn't have a shoe that they could give us in the moment, they guided us on a specific brand and size to buy.

They are more interested in getting you in the right shoes than getting you in their shoes. Hopefully we will be able to walk away with something at our next visit!
