If you are looking for carnitas in West Chicago, this is the place you need to come get your fixing! Picture is of one of my two carnitas tacos with onion, Cilantro and green sauce. Look at the amount of meat in the taco!!! It was delicious! They also have tortas and menudo on the weekends. Only thing is that is take out (carry-out), but it is worth it!!!

Best carnitas in the burbs by far! Made the old fashioned way: whole pig in a giant pot. And the nicest owners. You don’t sit down: you order by the pound, grab some homemade salsa, tortillas, and take to-go. Don’t miss if you’re craving some authentic carnitas!

I gotta say this place should be on those show as a top 1 in America!!! I was told I got lucky with the short line when I went in. By just looking around it doesn’t look like much, but judging this place is the last thing u will want to do! I asked for my order and the love u feel from everyone is just great. They gave me a nice size sample and I added some salsa to it. I got in my car and started leaving the lot when I finally tasted the carnitas. …. Woah, pull back over and set the car in park! The flavor will just melt in your mouth and make u feel like Homer Simpson with drool. I would not be able to focus on the road with the amount of flavor I got from this small bite. If only I had a warm tortilla and I would have called it a perfect start to the day. It’s just amazing to see the art of flavor they have and yes, I recommend this place!!! Buy stock in this place! 😂

Best carnitas and the boronitas to die for. If you don't know about boronitas you better ask. You've got to to try their carnitas tacos with nopales salad, veggie habanero salad and top it with a jalapeño. This what dreams are made of!

Best carnitas in town! Always freshly made, never dry. Get there early because line forms outside!

I’d like to consider myself a carnitas enthusiastic! Well, let me tell you that Carnitas Chepa without a doubt checks every box. As soon as you walk in you feel the authentic Mexican vibes, the taste of the carnitas fill your taste buds and your the pairings they offer go perfect with them. Lastly the customer service is second to no one, I was greeted with a friendly hello and a warm smile. 10 out of 10 recommend.

I don’t know where to begin . Lived in WC for over 20 years & this was my first time having carnitas from this place. Definitely slept on this one . The boss took my order and she even gave me a generous free sample along sampling their salsas . Customer service was above and beyond. It’s unfortunate my commute is now 45 min of a drive but definitely will be returning .

Price is well worth it you won't be disappointed in there carnitas. There quesadillas are delicious but call ahead to see what's on the menu that day as a FYI them borranitas are delicious follow them on Instagram

Very well seasoned carnitas. We drove from Elgin to get Carnitas and they were worth the drive. We will be going back again. Their sauces are good also. Thanks for the sample.

They have bags to purchase to carry your goods or you can grab one of the available empty product boxes. I really like going to this Carnitas Chepa & Groceries because it’s location is easy to get to and the staff are friendly.

Hands down the best carnitas in the area. Love the fact that new customers can sample before they buy it and commit. Will definitely be our go to

First time here, I gotta say I underestimated this little spot. There was a line all the way outside for a reason (besides the whole covid distancing). The carnitas, menudo, guac, nopales and mixed chiles "salad" were all delicious. Definitely a place I'll be going back to soon. The only thing I didn't like was that I didn't order double the amount of everything.

The carnitas here are the best. Well worth my 35 min drive and waiting in line for 45 min lbvs.
