Jay was part of a custom made ring I had made years ago when he was at Littmans. When I wanted a new ring made, I knew he was the one to help me.
He is so educated and knowledgeable in the jewelry and diamond business and he educated me along the way too.
I am beyond stunned and excited about the ring he created for me. I knew pretty much the style I like and together we created a stunning ring.

Stopped into Jewelry by Jay for the first time today. My daughter had broke her gold chain and I was hoping to sell the gold and replace the chain for her. I also had a piece that needed repair and bracelet that I have owned for 20 years and never worn that I wanted to sell. Jay, the owner, greeted my daughter and myself as soon as we walked through the door. He was very personable and knowledgeable. He gave me a very reasonable price for items that I wanted to sell, helped my daughter choose a charm for her new chain out of huge book of options and repaired my ring for free. Overall a great experience and we left very happy. We will definitely be going back for any jewelry needs in the future.

I had a GREAT experience. I was worried at first because I was bringing in several pieces of jewelry. But one piece in peticular was a diamond ring that is very old (150+) and I didn't want to bring it somewhere and leave it for days or weeks...Jay understand that and had it ready in a couple hours. He also fixed my heart shaped diamond ring. I wanted a new setting. He did an excellent job and I am very pleased with everything. He is very friendly, knowledgeable and has very reasonable prices ! Brought a bracelet for repair, a ring that had lost a diamond, and a chain that I wanted modified to Jewelry by Jay. I ended up purchasing a new chain which he modified for me and handled the other repairs beautifully - all for an extremely reasonable price! Jay was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. His prices are better than you will find at a big box or chain store in the mall. He has amazing inventory and If he doesn’t have it, he will do his best to get it, or design a unique individual piece for you! Jay did an emergency ring removal I needed for surgery. . I just stopped in and he was so kind and understanding. What a wonderful gentlemen. I can’t wait to go back to get my ring resized. And do some shopping - in addition this store is amazing!!! And so is he. He made me feel so much better about having to get this done.

Jay and his family are very professional and very nice. I went in to get 2 watch battery replacements and small chain repair. Jay had them done in a half hour where others were talking a week atleast. Very reasonable pricing nice selection a hidden gem in the Cicero area. I was searching for a jeweler close to where I live and found Jays Jewelry. When you walk in everything glistens from the silver and gold necklaces to the beautiful gems and diamonds. Jays selection is vast including pins, purses, watches, etc. I walked in and Jay was there to take care of my necklace. One of my pendants had broken/fallen off. Jay did a beautiful job in repairing my necklace which means the world to me. I highly recommend Jays Jewelry for anyone who is looking for top notch service and product. Jay was recommended to us on a whim by my husband’s co-worker. We had been trying to find a jeweler all day who would set my Alexandrite into a new ring and I was at my wits end. From the minute I walked into his store, he went above and beyond. Natural Alexandrite isn’t something people often have and his Jeweler took special care to be sure that my stone was secure in the setting. He reinforced the prongs and refused to take extra money for doing so. Most of the people I had called already told me up front they didn’t feel comfortable even setting it just because of what it is, let alone going the extra mile to make sure it would be perfect. I cannot express enough how thankful I am to have been referred to him. After not wearing my engagement ring for 2 years, I finally have it on my finger and feel confident that my stone won’t fall out. We didn’t have a “jeweler” until yesterday, but we do now!!!!
