Binny's Beverage Depot - Glen Ellyn

We go to Binny's when looking for the unusual or more select spirits. Have never been disappointed at the other locations. The Glen Ellyn location has stellar customer service - the employees are easily engaged in conversation, never seem annoyed by the questions they probably have already answered 20 times that day and have helpful suggestions. Visited three times over the holidays. Each time we found exactly what we wanted. The place is always busy but employees took the time to walk us to the right shelf space and the check out experience is conversational. Great selection, even better customer service.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good selection. My only complaint is the lack of sales here compared to other locations. You're still getting a good price compared to the jewel down the street, just don't expect an 8 dollar 24 case of Old Style any time soon.

Employees were very friendly and personable. They're proactive in acknowledging their customers and asking if assistance is needed. Otherwise, they simply leave you alone and continue with their tasks while you shop. This location is a bit smaller than others nearby, but they still have a good selection of alcohol on offer.

Great selection, great staff, great prices. What more can you ask from a liquor store?

You know, I always walk in here and the store is always well kept and the staff is always helpful. Combine that with decent deals and you have yourself a repeat customer.

I love this Binny's! As with most Binny's, but not all of them, but this one I am always surprised and delighted to find something new that is in my genre of drinking, and that is stout beer! (Hopefully soon I will move up to the world of wine) but in the meantime, stout is my newest obsession! This particular Binny's always has something new, I always I find something every week to try that I haven't seen at any other Binny's. I especially like to buy the liter bottles, and I have some favorites through Stone Brewery, but this one doesn't carry a wide selection of "stout" beer from Stone Brewer. they do carry Xocoveza, which is one of my favorites, and I am so delighted that they do have that... I would like to see some more Woot and some Russian Imperial from Stone Brewery. Alas, they do make up for this by caring and always delightful and new type of stout to choose from!

This store is convenient and has a tremendous selection of whiskeys and wines. Briand is very helpful and courteous whenever I am there. This is my goto for anything. Great store, location and customer service!!
Update 2/22/2022: Was able to stop by and get a bourbon and a rye at a great price on sale! Also, take the time to really search around the store, you may find something you had not though of like a couple glencairn glasses! If you like cigars, there is no better place!!

Great selection of beers, wines, and spirits. I shop here primarily because its convenient, great service, and very competitive prices. I like their deals when you buy certain sale items they have chips of peanuts for a penny. Also the carts are perfect size and it's comfortable to navigate the store - nice wide aisles.

I asked for a recommendation for a decent IPA and the worker actually knew what he was talking about. I bought all three of his recommendations and they were spot on from how he described them

This location has a good selection of various products. Much larger than the other local alcohol stores. They also have great wine deals. I got a Coppola cabernet for roughly 5 dollars cheaper than other local places

NICE clean store. Very easy to find what you want. The staff are exceptionally helpful. I try to pick this Binny's whenever I can. I work next to the one in Oakbrook Terrace ... this one is more "homey" and down to earth.

Binnys walks the fine line of local go - to alcohol store and major market liquor outlet. The depth of their selection is spectacular, but their staff are knowledgeable enough to give you that small shop touch with insightful information to help you find things you may not have known what you like.

To be clear, they're not going to be as on point as places like the beer cellar or Cabernet and Company in downtown Glen Ellyn; they specialize in finding the diamonds in the rough and offering a very personalized, well curated selection tailored to the most refined palates.
