As simple as it gets, a truly neat and compact general store with snacks and fishing gear.

Great store. Has all of your fishing needs. I was able to have them special order a life jacket for my son. They were nice enough to order both sizes just to make sure we have a properly fitting life jacket. I highly recommend this place for your boating and fishing needs. Straight forward and honest owners. Locally owned!

I've been shopping at Howard's for years to get live bait, rod and reel outfits and other tackle. They have a nice selection of equipment to get you on the water and get fish on without breaking the bank. The owner is a friendly guy and always offers up good tips and shares the local fishing report for what's biting. They also have snacks and camping supplies if you're staying at the adjacent state park. Nothing but great service ever time.

A wonderful experience! We stopped in for some bait on our maiden voyage to buck creek state park. Not only were the staff great but the place was amazing. We found everything we needed and a "mud puppy" in the fish tank. I would be there every day if I lived nearby.

Great people working here and very knowledgeable about firearms. Layaway so if you don't have the money up front you can still get the gun you want. Very good selection of guns the day I stopped. I always try to support local businesses if they have the product I'm shopping for!!!

Always a pleasant experience going in here, I have never walked out of there wishing they had something cause 9/10 they always have what I'm looking for. Even when they're out of minnows there is still plenty other live bait to choose from! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable with service that can't be beat.

This is a bait shop that can’t be beat! I walked into a clean and friendly atmosphere with an amazing selection of bait and fishing equipment. The staff was super nice and helpful. I highly recommend this place and will be returning soon.

I absolutely love this shop my husband and I go there every Friday to get our bait and tackle absolutely amazing to us I also got my license from here friendly staff 100% grateful for them 😊

What they lack in product they make up for his good-nature but just about anything you need they'll have and some things can't get anywhere else

I am a disabled veteran new to the area I was trying to get my fishing license but they said I needed to apply to the state of Ohio that way it would not cost anything so I was going to but a one day license but the owner of the store paid for the one day for me wow what a pleasant group I am truly grateful for there hospitality thank you all so much

This place is an awesome little store right by the lake good place to stop in if you need food or drinks Bait Tackle or even disc golf definitely worth checking out

They were outstanding to my brother who is a disable vet they paid for his one day fishing license for him since he was out of state resident

I haven't been there in years but it was nice to come back. Howards used to be my go to for bait and tackle when beaver lake was around . now that i am back in town ill be sure to use it alot more.
