Publix Super Market at Mountain Park Plaza

I rarely write reviews, but I would like everyone to know how wonderful Jessica is in the bakery! I ordered a rainbow colored cake for my daughter’s fifth birthday at the bakery counter in advance with a different employee. I showed up to pick up the cake and it was all white. Jessica was very professional, beyond apologetic, and assured me she could fix it before the party. Sure enough, 20 minutes later the white cake had been transformed into a beautiful rainbow cake that made my child smile! Publix also covered the cost! Thank you Jessica for your hard work, professionalism, and kindness!

They are always so helpful and nice never any attitude that I’ve seen in other markets. The prices are great and they always have deals going on. It’s always clean and organized!!

Good customer service. This store is very clean, spacious and well maintained. The groceries sold here are of very good quality. They even have a small collection of sports goods and men's t-shirts. They also have Bakery, Deli, Meats and Sea food section.

Excellent customer service, Heman was really helpful, friendly and courteous! Everyone else also were great! I highly recommended this location!!

Always enough checkout lines available. Great with returns. Friendly. Produce is always fresh! Bakery has great items, and are masters at cakes.

Went by the Deli to get a Sub for a trip I was making the following day. Was greeted as soon as I walked up, by a young lady (Mary) who was busy with something else. After she finished she took my order and while she was making it she apologized as this was only her third shift. When she was done she thanked me for my patience. No apology or thanks were needed. She was an absolute delight. I have always loved this store and she is just another reason.

It's clean and the staff is fast and friendly. The produce here is really fresh and good.

My favorite grocery store in the whole world!!! It's not just a slogan. Shopping at publix is really a pleasure. They are the friendliest, most helpful staff. I just wish they had a more consistent format. Every piblix is different, I'm lost every time I go to a different publix. I know, a minor point, but a bit annoying. Not sure why they do it. To keep you guessing, I guess but I prefer just knowing what's on isle 4 no matter what publix I'm at. (I know not all have the same footprint BUT, they don't seem to even try to be consistent.)

I visited this store this morning and I a huge issue. The deli department took the wrong order and I needed the order by 8:30am. It wasn’t ready. Mark the manager stepped right in and made it right. Admittedly I was “that” customer that you don’t won’t to see first thing in the morning and Mark was so calm and nice. He made a very unhappy customer into a satisfied customer. I give Mark five stars because he is the type of manager everyone would want to represent them. If Lakeland corporate office sees this give Mark a call and tell him thank you for representing Publix on a highly professional level. Thanks again Mark my meeting went well.

Always a great publix to go shopping! Has been for the last 20+ years!

No one does sub sandwiches like Publix. I scored this store a five today because of the guy that made my sandwiches. He was called over from a different department to help out. He was polite, thorough, and friendly even though he was working on the hot sides of the deli. The sandwiches were fresh as always.

Camden and Chris who helped me at checkout were amazing! I don't know who are the managers at this location but there are definitely doing something right! Question: why can't we tip your lovely, hard working staff Publix?

Today, August 4, 2022, I bought an 8-piece fried chicken box for $8.99 at the Publix Deli, Mountain Park Plaza. I don't know who the fry cook is today, but wow! That was the BEST fried chicken that I've ever tasted. The chicken at Publix, in general, is always very good. But today, they out-did themselves, so much so that I HAD to write about. Fresh & hot. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, just like Mama used to make. KFC & Popeye's have nothing on Publix fried chicken. AND it's a better value than the fast food chains. Pardon me, I have to go back for a drum leg now...

Fast checkout. Clean. Nice sale prices.

I am posting about the bakery here. We have done many birthday cakes here for my girls, but we are always the most impressed when we ask them to help us with something custom. This week we left a plate for a gemstone/prism party theme and were totally blown away by what a perfect match they created. The cake looked and tasted amazing. They really take care to make sure everything is the best quality and above and beyond expectations.
