Dollar General

I love this store. It’s come a long way, it used to be a mess! It might have something to do with the new manager Mr. Kimble. He’s introduced himself before and is always working diligently in the aisles when I visit! Keep up the great work guys. Love your store!

Staff is always kind & courteous, however this particular visit was LITERALLY 9 mins before they were supposed to close. I always hate being that person, but sometimes you literally don't have a choice. I always feel awkward, uncomfortable, & guilty when I have to go anywhere right before they close.. I repeatedly apologized & the cashier, I forget her name (it started with a "T" & she had black hair), but she kept telling me its fine, it happens, & she understands. Still engaged in small talk, had a smile on her face, was very kind & helpful & not one time did she make me feel as if i were being rushed or on a time limit ! Not to mention it was probably down to 4 mins (or less) to close at this time ! Just thought that was awesome... Great customer service that is pretty rare anymore !

Pretty much all my visits to the dollar general in the west end of St.Albans ,andthe DG in Buffalo WV. Were a pleasant experience. The staff were helpful and curdious. As its surprisingly seems that they have strengthened their PR skills, during this covid maddness...Humble hillbillies is a good thing..lol

Always busy but they are always friendly. My goto DG for essentials. They have gotten so much better over the past 2 years!

I always enjoy my local Dollar General they're very pleasant there have great conversation the prices are great and it's a very clean store I also have their app on my phone so I get coupons

I love the store. The workers are really, really nice and they'll help you find what you want if you can't. The manager is a special loveing woman.

I bought a glue gun there a few months ago and the second time I used it it broke...I had no receipt but i am in the store often so I was able to trade it with no problem.

Good place to go for basic items when you don't feel like going to Walmart. Fair prices on most items.

Was very well run. Mngr very helpful and nice.she went above and beyond to help me. Almost best I've been too.

Fast friendly service. May be a little cramped for space, product sitting on the floors. Other than that, good experience.

Got some great bargins for Christmas on clearance at 70% off and the cashier and manager was very nice and efficient.

Was fast at the checkout and found what I needed quickly fully stocked and clean.

Thy Are Allways Out Ove The Thing's I Need Evert Time For 3 Month's Now Miss Not Organized At All Poorly RAN Don't like It At All Now.

Quick and easy to find a parking space. Easy access to the store front and easy check out.

This place is100 times better since the new manager took over.

Big store, high traffic volume, but the store is always clean, and the employees are always friendly and helpful.
