Belfast Community Co-op

Wonderful staff and a great selection of stuff! There was a huge amount of yummy looking groceries that I had never seen before and the prices were very reasonable! The cashier was very nice and helpful and they made me feel very welcome! Would definitely recommend and I will go again!

Stopped by for a quick grab-n-go lunch — delicious vegan and gluten free deli foods! The staff was super friendly as well:) Wish we lived closer!

We love visiting when we're in the area. There is always a great selection of products we love and we discover some new items too!

Thank you for having fresh bread and fresh food on a day when most of the town is closed. I am sure it isn't easy to accomplish. Gem of a shop.

The Belfast co-op is a fantastic experience all around. Wonderful selection and everyone working there has always been friendly and welcoming. It is a must visit if you're passing through Belfast or live here!

This is a great store, with a very nice variety of products. Among other things, they have a high quality selection of prepared food/meals. Everything from fresh produce, to canned goods, bulk, wine and beer, frozen foods, fresh meats and personal care items. Loads of local, organic choices for everything!

Some of the freshest produce around. This place rocks if you want to eat healthy and sustainable food.

The coop is a delight to shop in. Friendly staff, easy to get around, ask if you don't see what you want, they can order things too. Become a member and be part of a wonderful local community that cares.

This is exactly my favorite kind of store. I stopped in to grab a quick bite and got the vegetarian egg rolls and the sesame noodle salad. The were both delicious and filling. I would happily come here again, especially if I need any groceries.

When we come to Maine we make sure to come to the co-op! It's a little on the pricey side but if you want quality you pay a little more. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable with fast service. The cafe inside has a nice variety of menu items to choose from if you're looking for a quick bite to eat. The store, inside and outside, is always kept neat and tidy.

I don't think I can rave about this place enough! I have a sensitive digestive system and clean palate, so finding yummy clean prepared food I can digest easily is a challenge - and I just got loads of stuff from the deli!! It's very reasonably priced for what it is, and everyone was so helpful. I didn't find brands of packaged snacks that I like, but I'd rather have the fresh food anyway.

A little out of my price range for regular grocery shopping, but most definitely one of the best places in Central Maine for special diet needs. Absolutely huge selection of GF snacks, and the best place for a healthy lunch. Bring back the deli counter!!

Always delicious food in the deli area. Fresh produce & wonderfully stocked whole foods on the shelves. Helpful staff with a smile. Plus it smells like home when you walk through the door! Love this place.

Great place with excellent stock and friendly people. Non-members (like us) are quite welcome. We've been visiting them for at least four decades. Always great!

I love it here. Super friendly staff, great local protein selection (fresh and frozen), beautiful produce. I must go in at least 3x per week. They're the best.
