Was trying to fill aprescription. called at 11am and was left on hold for over 15 minutes.... however I went back a few weeks later for a Covid booster shot and recieved excellent service. I guess it just depends if they have proper staff working or not.

Please update your Sunday hours on Google. I looked up the hours which said open until 9, and drove there only to find new Sunday hours posted on the window... closed at 6. Wasted time. Very frustrating.

Can’t bother to leave a message on an answering machine when they’re closed during normal hours. I have two sick parents that can’t leave the house right now. Mom tried calling several times but had been put on hold for 20-30 minutes each time with no answer. I drove 30 minutes into town to get their prescriptions and to figure out what was going on. Walked up to a hand written note on the door saying the pharmacy would be closed for the weekend.
If you don’t have enough staff to run a reliable pharmacy, then you should close. I wish I could say this is the only time this has happened.

Horrible experience today at this Pharmacy. I went in to pick up my prescriptions after leaving the Dr's office. The pharmacy staff was aggressively rude and condescending after I asked if they could expedite my prescriptions. They laughed at me and humiliated me in front of others in the pharmacy. The other pharmacy staff members then joined in to further heckle and humiliate me. Don’t make the same mistake I did by going here and assuming that you'll be treated like a human being that is not feeling 100% and needs a compassionate pharmacist to help you recover. I’ve transferred my prescriptions to a non-CVS pharmacy and hope to be treated better there. I’ll never set foot in the Chesterland CVS again after today’s terrible experience with their pharmacy “staff”.

A long, hard fight to speak to a pharmacist. They do absolutely everything they can to get rid of you via apps, etc. Horrible.

Awful experience. The pharmacist was extremely rude and refused to help. Alexis boyen went to great strides to make the experience even more disappointing. Prescriptions were 3 days out even though they said it be ready in a half hour. Maybe they should figure out how to help customers or just close. Their superior (Annette moon) was less helpful. Great work cvs can I give less then 1 star?

I went to pick up a prescription last night for my Mom. I arrived at 7:10pm and waited in line for over 20 minutes (with four others behind me) while the pharmacist was having a social conversation with another customer. (The pharmacist gave "looks" indicating she was clearly not going to be interrupted.) I was then curtly told the prescription was not in their system. I called the doctor's office this morning and they assured me it had been called in yesterday; in the meantime, my Mom told me she hasn't received a call saying the prescription is 'ready for pickup', so I'm not confident it's there and don't want to waste a trip to be treated rudely again. Now, I've been on hold for more than 15 minutes waiting for a pharmacist to get status on the new prescription because you can't get automated status without the Rx #. If they say it's not in their system, I will call the doctor's office and ask to have it resent to a different pharmacy.

I changed to this location about two years ago after a management change at another location which reduced customer service to less than nothing. The same thing appears to have happened here now. I feel sorry for CVS employees. Clearly, they are not being treated as valued staff. As a customer, I'm not being treated like a valued customer either. Very frustrating. I'm pretty much done with CVS.

I had to pick up pain medication prescribed for my husband's broken back after a motorcycle accident. Clearly there was a lot going on, but to be called and told my insurance wasn't accurate stressed me out even more.
I had received a text my prescription was ready to pick up, however when I went to pick it up, they told me my insurance card wasn't valid. I called my insurance prior to paying, horrified of what was happening. Of course my insurance was kind and empathetic and called this CVS to get everything squared away, as they confirmed my insurance was valid and fine. I waited on hold with my insurance in the parking lot, very upset at how irritating this was.
My insurance came back on the line shortly thereafter and stated they were not filling the proper fields. Aka group number, account number etc.
When I could breathe a sigh of relief and go back to grab what I needed, the pharmacist apologized but in a condescending way that my insurance card wasn't clear. I just stared at her, took my prescription and walked away.
FYI if you can't figure out how to read an insurance card, don't work at a pharmacy.

Never knew a pharmacy to take lunch breaks. I clocked out from work and rushed over to get my prescription only to get there and be told they are all on lunch break till 2PM?? All 4 of them went to lunch at the same time? C'mon, I don't know any other pharmacy that does that. If there was only one person on staff, great. But all 4?? I am now on hold for 10 minutes making sure they will be open after 5 so I can drive down there. Changing pharmacies after this. And no one has answered the phones... so one of 4 can't answer a phone?

I have never had a bad experience with this CVS before, so it was highly disappointing when I did today.
My mental health provider has a serious issue with sending me into detox off of my medication as they cannot seem to send my refill scripts over each time I visit for refills, even though I make sure to remind them. This ends up leaving me off my antidepressants, which is just plain negligent. However, insurance wise and provider wise I am pretty much stuck with this healthcare provider as of right now.
Friday, I called after I got out of work at 4:30 to see if my script had been sent over from my appointment that day because I did not receive a notification. I was told no. The refill request had been denied. I tried calling my mental health provider but could not get any help as everyone had left the building. I was told I would have to wait until Monday. I metabolize my medication different and experience withdrawals especially bad after missing one day of medication. I am also a single mom with no support so! KINDA NEED TO FUNCTION. So, I called and asked if I could buy a few pills because this option has been provided to me before with CVS. I was told no. Which is fine.
Today I was in contact with my mental health provider's facility's management department as to issue a script over because my doctor is off on Monday. I was told it was sent over. I called CVS and Dawn answered. She stated, "I spoke to you Friday and told you we can not issue you any pills until the script is sent over". I responded, "First of all, I have spoken with my provider and was told that they sent the script over earlier so I am checking to see if it has been received seeing as we both know the issues in pertaining to my scripts being filled. There is no reason for you to have such a nasty attitude with me. I am out of my medication and going through withdrawal so it is important my meds get refilled today." She continued to be rude and said that basically I didn't need to call. I told her I would be calling to file a complaint against her because this is horrible customer service.
I called my mental health provider again. This time the lead nurse watched the script being sent over. I waited about 20-30 minutes (mind you the nurse said they should be able to see the request pretty much immediately). I called again to make sure the script was received. This time I spoke to the pharmacist who too was rude with me. I explained the situation, she too basically told me that I have to give it time, they cannot sell pills to me, and that I was calling repeatedly. Three times is not repeatedly, first of all, second of all these women were acting as if I consistently was asking for them to sell me pills which I was not. I informed her of my complaints with Dawn, which was brushed off, and she condescendingly told me they had received the script and it should be ready shortly.
Absolutely ridiculous. I understand that you cannot fill scripts without authorization... completely. But, these individuals know that the provider continuously messes up sending over the required documentation, which in turn leaves me detoxing off antidepressants. You'd think they'd understand why I need to make sure they've gotten the script and have a little more empathy. Apparently not.

Worst place to get your prescriptions. The prices are higher than most pharmacies. I made an appointment for a flu shot and when I got there they said it would be another hour. When asked if in an hour I would get my shot, I was told probably not, they were busy.

They weren't to busy to send it through insurance already and because of that I could not get it somewhere else. When I called to get them to cancel it from insurance, they didn't answer the phone. I waited on hold for 30 minutes.
