Goodwill of Greater Washington Retail Store

This location is well organized and I found a steal of a deal ! Coffee table I fully restored for only $9 !! Definitely will be back to see what else they have !!

This is one of the few Goodwills that still worth going to. It’s the “old style”. Meaning it’s not just filled with the equivalent of what is leftover at your yard sale at the end of the day. Prices are still not too high, it’s got a decent toy section where kids can still access the toys themselves and you still can find treasures not just stupid Knick knacks. I think I’ve found something or bought a pair of shoes every time I’ve visited. I love this particular Goodwill. The rest of them, for the most part, suck.

This Goodwill location is one of my favorite stops! Stock is always wildly diverse, and often has beautiful Desi clothing. Yes, there is a "no tag, no sale" policy, that is standard Goodwill policy across all stores. Yes, they ask people to not lets their kids treat the toy area like a playground, not sure why reviewers think that is a bad thing. Over several years, the only rudeness I've encountered was at the donation door, so I donate elsewhere. Otherwise, I find if you are kind and respectful to the staff, and treat them like people, they are the same to you. They can't help it if so many customers like to let their kids run about, or dump unwanted items in random places, rip open boxes, and break stuff. Goodwill retail is a store, not a service, and I have always thought the staff is doing the best they can.

Employees really friendly and the store is neat. They have a lot of good products on the floor.

This is a great Goodwill location. While small than what I am used to, they have some good brands and styles at really good prices. They don’t do any of the crazy upcharging that I expect from Goodwills nowadays.

Love this place. I've always shopped at Goodwill but this one is really great. It's brand spanking new so everything is fresh and clean. Clothes are grouped by categories, then size and color so it's super easy to go right to what you're looking for. For example, I know I can just pop in and go right to Women's short sleeve blouses and go through all the Large black tops. Shoes are sorted by color as well. Centreville is an upscale town so all the donations they receive here are very clean and of great quality. They even have an "upscale" kind of section with top rated designer stuff. There's something for everyone. Stop in when you get a chance. You won't be disappointed.

costumer service is very friendly. i dropped a piggy bank and a worker swept it up quickly and assured me it was ok. the worker ringing up our items was very sweet and did it very quickly, even though we bought many items.

Very excited to see my Jordash's back on the rack. Was looking for parachute pants to go with my Roos, but wasn't in the cards today.

A lot of people sleep on Goodwill. They have a lot of decent clothes at a affordable price. I use to pay $40 for 2 pair of jeans at Walmart( which wasn’t worth it the dye was cheap). At goodwill you’ll get your money worth. I have clothes that I wanna donate but I refuse to pay 169 dollars for only two small bags 😒😒. I’ll personally drop them off myself.

Excellent staff at this location. The cashier Rita who helped me couldn't be happier to do it. The store was organized and the staff is really adamant about covid precautions. Loved it.

I really love this location! It’s always pretty clean and organized, they take great COVID precautions, I love the manager and all the employees are so amazing and kind! It’s one of the biggest Goodwills I have been to and I’ve found some amazing things!!

Was dropping off donations when a very rude and angry “customer” went out of his way to tell me what he thought was right. The employee saw this happen and apologized for him and explained that what I was doing was fine. Really appreciatiatve of the excellent customer service!

I love this one. They have a great toy selection, kids clothes section and furniture. I prefer this one over the one closest to my house (manassas). And I love how I can usually find a lot of fabric there!
