William's Natural Foods

I recently had the pleasure of visiting William’s Natural Foods, a wonderful health food store that has been serving our community for over 50 years. Normally, I don’t spend time to write reviews but I want to highlight the exceptional quality of their staff and the positive impact they have on my overall. They are not only knowledgeable about the products they offer but also genuinely friendly and approachable. Whenever I had questions or needed assistance, they were more than happy to help.

Their expertise in health foods and supplements is impressive. They are well-informed about the latest trends, nutritional benefits, and dietary requirements. I needed some advice on choosing the right supplements or recommendations for specific dietary needs, they provided accurate and helpful information.

They create a sense of community and make you feel valued as a customer. Their passion for health and wellness is evident, and their dedication to providing exceptional customer service is commendable. Keep up the great work!! I’ll be back for sure!

Great selection of spices, herbs, natural oils etc and groceries. Also honey on tap! Pretty accessible location on San Pablo, and there is a bike rack right outside. I highly recommend!

I was surprised by the wide selection of quality products including some food items that are hard to find. They make very efficient use of the space to include the good variety of supplements as well as bulk herbs. As other reviews have noted, the prices are reasonable. The woman who assisted me was very very helpful. The store has a really calm and nice vibe.

I love this store and love and appreciate the staff! It’s always a learning experience when I visit. I am not a Richmond local but will drive there to get my supplements. The staff is helpful and they listen. That is so important when I’m trying to take better care of myself and my family. They also do a wonderful customer appreciation event when Covid is not making them postpone it to keep customers and staff safe. I really to enjoy visiting this little corner gem!

William's Natural Foods doesn't look like much from outside. In fact, I had driven by it many times thinking it was a tiny and probably overpriced vitamin store, but tired of Whole Foods always being out of my favorite supplements, I stopped in one day. Boy, was I surprised! The store is very spacious and they have a great selection of vitamins & nutritional supplements. When I was there they were having a month long 30 percent off special on my favorite brands. What's more, they have lots of natural foods and really helpful people who know the supplements and give good advice. Parking can be a little tight but you can usually find a space in the alleyway next to the store if there is nothing out front. I learned that this place has been serving the community for many years.
Now, I'm a regular. Prices are equal or close to the price I can get online and they have a generous return policy if something really doesn't work out (only happened once for me and they were very gracious about it so that won my loyalty).

The staff is knowledgeable; they have always been able to help me find exactly the right product. They have good customer service and a very large quality selection of natural supplements. I also find all my bulk foods here; they have thousands of items - from nuts and grains to spices, teas and herbs. On my recent visit I found they also have bulk herbal tinctures, I have been using Herb Pharm's herbal tinctures, but found these ones to be more affordable and of great quality. The prices are very reasonable through out the store and they have great sales and line drives. They also have different options for all whole plant-based vitamins, which are not so easy to find.

I Have been a customer for some time; I had not been coming here for a couple months now. But came back last week. I found the prices to actually be much better than sprouts or the vitamin shoppe on hilltop! They have 10 to 15 % off on most supplements lines as their regular price, which beats other stores at any given time. They don't have produce, but my local farmers market offers better prices and fresher produce than any retail store. However, they have a very knowable staff (opposite to other stores), huge bulk selection - including spices, herbs and teas and very large supplements and natural cosmetics section. I am glad I came back, I won't stop coming here for any other big corporate chain store. I am supporting my local store plus getting better prices and service!

I really like this store. I have been a customer for sometime now and have always received very good service. The staff is very knowlegeble and their prices are very good. They have 15% off as their regular price on many of the supplements lines, that is better price than any other store around. Last week I meet one of the owners as he was up front and he was very pleasant and did his best to get me the best service and help me find exactly what I needed. Will always come back.

This place has a lot of homeopathic remedies and natural supplements for just about anything you could thing of/have. They also have a lot of natural hygiene products. And they always have kombucha and vegetarian/gluten free products here. The manager there is really nice and recognizes the regular customers by their face. Never hesitate to ask for help either, this place has great/friendly customer service. I also forgot to say that they sell a lot of things in bulk here so you can get exactly how much you want of whatever you need. They also sell honey by the pound/ounce.

I went in there with no information told Maria what I needed and she led me to it gave me plenty of helpful information very friendly excellent customer service I wasn’t sure about any of it she told me everything I needed to know about the process and was very friendly and professional people like her make you want to return and keep coming back thank you Maria and the cashier for your excellent customer service

William’s Natural Foods has the best bulk spice and herb selection I’ve found in the East Bay. Lots of organic too. Love this place!

Good local natural grocery, with the usual range, and the right crunchy granola feel.
