Got back into the hobby about a year ago with help from this location. The staff is always willing to give advice for all parts of the hobby. There is a great community that has been built around this store. Everyone here has been great! This store will forever have my buisness!

As a newcomer to all things tabletop I was blown away by how helpful the staff (and even fellow customers!) were, answering all my questions and letting me see their amazing creations. They had just about everything and overall it was a 10/10 first impression. I will definitely be back for all my Warhammer 40k paints, models and everything else.

Great service, staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They do pretty well with keeping most items in stock barring popular releases of course. Location is clean with plenty of room to paint/play. They offer classes for people new to the hobby too that you can pre-book for free.

Got into the hobby about a month ago. The owner has been nothing but help in everything. Painting, building and figuring out how to play. Would recommend this store to anyone wanting to get into Warhammer.

Super helpful staff and really knowledgeable both about Warhammer, but also painting. Everything you need as well. You can get lessons, wisdom, or just creative ideas. Was just there today and it was really busy.

Came here with my husband just to look around, expected to be in here 15 mins max. Ended up spending over an hour talking and getting to know the place and leaving with a starter box and a kill team box (along with some extras!). The manager(Keylon) seriously knew his stuff and more importantly was friendly and approachable, could tell we were fairly new to the hobby and was more about getting us miniatures we'd appreciate and want to paint.
Patrons in the store were painting minis and happy to chat with us. Really great place overall, we'll def be back to get better at painting and enjoy the atmosphere!

Great service and people, i was new to Warhammer and the staff was so helpful in me deciding my first army! (Glory to the ruinous powers) but still if you want to get into Warhammer or even considering it, come here, the staff will help you in anyway you can

I am new to games workshop and to warhammer as a whole. The manager at this store was extremely helpful and patient with me. I didn't know the lore or anything I just kind of liked the idea of building miniatures and playing with them. He suggested a beginners class for my boyfriend and I and we could learn to build, paint, and eventually play. Well we started in January and I am having a lot of fun. Key is so helpful and fun to be around. He has a good sense of humor. We are new to the virginia area and Key and the community at this store really makes me happy.

I don’t really review things, but after reading/hearing the bad ones I don’t see any issue. They have plenty of stock, my questions were answered, and advice given for painting when asked. Small store but has what you need mostly and has tables to game.

This place is great! I went in just trying to scope the place out and see what it was like and ended up having a great time! One of the employees helper me learn to paint one of my pieces I had brought in and shower me a lot of useful techniques. Everyone there seemed very knowledgeable and there was plenty of inventory. I will for sure be coming back and can't wait to see everyone again!

I had a great experience at this store. The gentleman who works here, Mr. Keylon, is extremely courteous, professional and knowledgeable. As a result of going to the store on Warhammer Day, I also walked away with some bonus goodies. The Emperor Protects.

I went in this store with no clue what warhammer was, 2 months later i have found two wonderful and passionate professionals, Key and Adam, taken numerous painting courses, found an amazing community of players and discovered my new hobby. This store and it’s associates are some of the finest I have seen! Many thanks!

Fantastic store with incredibly helpful employees. They were able to help me every step of the way from building to painting to playing with free classes. They all know their stuff and are amazing at giving a helping hand while not stifling creativity.

Wonderful store! The people here are what really make it special. From the manager, Keylon, to the regulars that hang out to paint and play, everyone has been so welcoming and generous with their knowledge and time. Highly recommend, especially if you are a new hobbyist or just curious about Warhammer, they will take care of you here!

Fantastic location with an amazing manager! I was familiar with the Horus Heresy setting, but had never interacted with the models/wargame. I'm usually worried about new stores where people might try to pester me and sell things, but Keylon was very friendly, polite and helpful. He helped me select some cool models within my price range, made sure I had the right supplies and paints, and even wrote down a quick guide for my painting project! I've been back multiple times and have been helped with painting, lore, rules and just gotten to enjoy hanging out with the manager and some regulars. I can honestly recommend this store to anyone who might be interested in getting into the Warhammer hobby --- you won't be disappointed!

My elderly mother fell ill recently so I moved with my wife to chantilly to take care of her. I meandered into the Pender Village store where I ended up decompressing directly at the poor (I don't have their permission to share name) employee. Anyway, not only did they listen to me patiently but related and commiserated with me. Then I explained I was looking for a box set to build in downtime. They helped me gather everything to build and paint with AND they ensured to apply freebies and specials. All of this AND I walked out having signed up for the monthly painting contest.

TLDR; Great store, great experience, great employees! 10/10 would wargame here again.

Great store, especially the manager Keylon. He was so helpful my first visit, I decided to bring my kids (7yo daughter and 4yo son) back for free painting sessions. Keylon was really patient and helped them paint up their first models. They were thrilled with what they painted. We visit often now and enjoy it every time. I can’t recommend enough. I attached a photo of my daughter’s first stormcast.

I have only been in the Warhammer hobby for a few months now, but I can say that collecting and painting Games Workshop models has quickly become a passion of mine thanks to this shop. The manager is very friendly and helpful. He takes his time to keep the shop clean and organized so that it is easy to find what you are looking for. The community that frequents the shop is very kind as well. I can't wait for the shop to open up fully so that we can come in to paint and play!!

Fantastic store - super helpful manager for those new to the hobby, long-time hobbyists, or anyone between. Also appreciate that a small store like this has taken tons of precautions given the last year to protect customers. Recommend for anyone looking to get into Warhammer!
