Leslie's Mexican Supermarket

This is a great authentic mexican grocery store in Springfield Mo. In the very back (behind the Pan dulce - mexican pastry section) right hand corner is a small restaurant. It was hard to find but don’t give up looking.
We use to go to Leslie’s often when they were near Jim’s Steak House. We didn’t know where they moved too and we were so glad we found them again. This new store/restaurant is definitely bigger than the other location.

The pozole is on par with any Hispanic cuisine I’ve had in South Texas. Super clean and loaded with flavor! And the pupusas are rather fantastic too.

The traditional taco shop and restaurant in back is amazing! Really good. Very traditional!
Menu has lots of choices. Not Tex-Mex do not expect chips & salsa this place is authenic.

The best! It reminds of home back in Farmersville California. Fresh food and the best prices and very awesome and very friendly service! I shop here every chance I get! Love this place!

Just ran in quickly today,, but will be returning. I haven’t seen this kind of market since I left Texas. All the brands I forgot I was missing were in one place. Fresh tortillas, Jarritos, and more. The store was very clean. The staff was friendly. The food in the back smelled delicious. If I hadn’t just had lunch I would have given it a try. Very excited to have found Leslie’s.

Edited to update. We returned on Sunday afternoon and tried the little restaurant in back. They served the best tacos we’ve eaten since leaving Texas 20+ years ago. The tamales were delicious as well. We will be repeat customers.

Bought a couple of 7 bone steaks prices were reasonable very clean stores if your looking for Mexican merchandise you will find it here great little market place...

Now this is a great market. I've been looking for a place to get great menudo, carnitas and Mexican sweet bread; oh don't forget the best corn tortillas EL MILAGRO . Reminds me of my childhood in the west side of Chicago.

Must check this place out for some real authentic Mexican food in their restaurant in the market. You won't be disappointed!

After living in Mexico, this grocery store was incredibly nostalgic. The panadería is an obligatory stop. The last time we went, my son and I enjoyed shrimp tacos and rice comparable to the street tacos along the baja coast. Any time I'm in Springfield, it is becoming routine to stop here for a few special things and simply feel like we're back in Mexico again.

Wow their hot food was great and they had products you don't normally see anywhere but Texas or California. Good pricing and friendly staff.

The Bakery reminds me of my favorite Panaderia in Mexico. 💚❤

Great Mexican restaurant inside this grocery store and barbacoa from the meat market was really good and I'm comparing the barbacoa from where I live in Texas on the border

Heard about this place off Gledstone. My friend told me about the food there. Boi when I saw they have restaurant. The food smells so good and they got fresh bread from Mexico, candies from Mexico. I mean I felt like my home memories of my childhood came back to me.

Update: my friend and I was missed informed about the hot food and stamp(cant) sorry you all but the food is still good. A+

Amazing selection and the best corn tortillas I've ever eaten (the sell them warm by the front door).

The restaurant is in the back of the supermarket. It is a walk up and order small place. The food is REALLY good! I had the Carnitas plate, and a Barbacoa taco to go. The salsa verde is flavorful with a nice kick! Highly recommend! Cash only!!

First time here and it is so clean! Lots of selections of food stuffs, bakery, candies, and other Mexican products. We ate lunch at the little restaurant and the food is authentic and very good. Large selection of to go items. Nice servings for a reasonable price. Will return when we visit Springfield again. Easy to find and a large store. Can send or receive money here.

We stopped in because my wife have never been to a Mexican supermarket before. As we entered the supermarket we were hit with a yummy smell not knowing that there was a restaurant in the back right corner of the supermarket. We ordered tamales and fajita nachos and both were extremely tasty. Honestly the best Mexican I've ever had and very authentic.

Great store - they have everything - pastries are yummy yummy yummy - don't forget to try the restaurant the food is delicious - best on Springfield

Tons of food options, a great looking restaurant in the back and lots of little goodies to get. Great local market!!
