Sucks when a big chain like am pm can't break $100 bill. Went in there for a couple of things and I left with nothing.

The items in the store are quite expensive.
Update: I came here again, and the cashier had me bag my own item. Isn't that the cashier job? If I need to do that, then there should be a self cashier.

I cant believe that I was charged 30 stinking cents for a mcdonalds size cup of ice. I WILL NOT EVER GO TO AN AMPM STORE ANY MORE. I will also tell others what happened.

I come here about once a month so I stop by every once in a while but after today I will never stop by again. Lady on the night shift 08/31/20 at 2220 has a terrible attitude and no customer service at all. I had bought a can of grizzly winter green pouches at 2118 and was down the street working came back at 2210 an hour later because they were dry and she said she can not change them out because it’s not their fault ( like I asked or blamed her) she said to get a hold of the manager that comes in at 7 am I work at night so it’s kind of difficult to come just for 6.75 from Long Beach, when she could have just changed them out on the spot. This lady needs to be retrained or have a manger on call or something all this bs for nothing now I am going to have to call the manager and file a complaint and I’m going to ask for a refund this is not the first time I have had an issue with her and her attitude. I prefer going to 711 down the street no .35 cent charge just to use your card there and people are a bit more friendlier.

There is legitimately no reason to go here. There was when they ran the any size drink for $1 deal, but even then just barely.

Let me try to detail what this place is like:

Imagine a mediocre 7/11. Now, add a $.30 card fee, raise the prices on all snacks by $.50, halve the selection, remove the loyalty/drink reward app, and set the bar even lower for customer service.

Let me be a *local guide* a local guide for a minute and give recommendations.

If you want a soft drink, go to the McDonalds a block away.

If you want late night snacks, go to the 7/11 down the road.

If you want hot food, go to the Del Taco next door.

I guarentee all are better options.

After fueling up, I went in to ask for the air and water to get turned on. I was told to park by the air service, then come back in and ask again. Then it would get turned on. I felt she got a kick out of inconveniencing me. Air turned off right away! A few days later I was treated very rudely by a different cashier. I left upset and insulted. Those girls that work need a customer relations class or something.

Worst AM/PM EVER. It seems like they're in the middle of a "shift change", no matter what time of night it is. The cashiers are always messing with something around the store and never manning the cash registers - hence the long lines and bad customer service. The gas pumps are ALWAYS broken. I am pumping gas as I write this and it has taken almost 10 minutes to pump $9.62 worth of gas. I am not exaggerating. The pump is moving so slow that I'll probable be here another half hour to finish filling up. Oh and don't pay at the pump because those machines are always broken as well. I've complained numerous times, but it has been to no avail. The bad thing is, they're the least expensive gas station in the immediate area, so if I want cheap gas, I'm stuck with this place. If you can afford it, pump gas at the 76 station down the way.

Rude employees, verbally aggressive even when customers are cordial. Terrible service, don’t go here. All of the poor reviews here from years ago are as applicable as ever.

These guy who works at night is a piece of work. He lied that he doesn't have the key of the restroom. I hope the owner will take care of it. I guess AMPM doesn't care about it. Good luck
