I love it here, owners and staff are friendly. The "muzubi" hope I spell it correct are great.

Is it a little expensive for some things here? Sometimes, yes. But the owner is super friendly and helpful. Being in Koreatown, there are a variety of beverages and snacks that cater to the community. The spam musubi is excellent, if not for your health. Want to buck all the people lined up at the Coffee Bean? Here they have decent coffee for a fraction of the price. This also a great place to come for lunch, they make excellent sandwiches with plenty of options. For those who question the little extra you might pay for some items here, keep in mind the superior, friendly service and that you will be supporting a small neighborhood, family business.

This store has a very nice selection of food and beverages. Though the prices are quite high. The staff members are very friendly and energetic. And seem genuinely happy to help meet your needs and provide good customer service.

It's a good store but it's pretty expensive

absolutely hideous experience here, I've been going here for couple of years and it was okay. Stuff is overpriced but I didn't care for that. Dec 30 2023 I went with a couple of my friends and we went to go buy some drinks because we just came back from an event. I'm not sure if its the owner of the store but it was an older Korean guy managing the store at the time. We were about to choose our drinks and then out of no where he got out of the counter and started yelling at us to leave for absolutely no reason at all. With no explanation at all he just aggressively harassed us and told us to leave so we couldn't even purchase our drinks. I really don't recommend to go here with that kind of service and pricing there are a lot better stores nearby so just go there.

I have only gotten a handful of bakery items, 4 or 5 small candies, and 3 23oz soda drinks and the total was around $62?! It's ridiculous how they don't want to put the price tags so customers wouldn't know how much each product is until they are up front.

I've been going to this little market since December, 2014.

Today, I was informed that because I was paying by debit card, and purchased less than $10.00 in groceries I would be charged an additional .94 cents.

I reminded the clerk, who I believe is the owner, that I have done a lot of business there, and that I felt the charge was unjust. Her attitude was uncaring. Therefore, I told her I would no longer do any business with her establishment.

When I go to 7-11, Rite Aid, Walgreen's and other convince stores, I'm never charged an additional fee.

Now, I wonder if what Metro Fresh is doing is legal for them to do. This is like charging me for an item that I did not purchase.

Since I cannot use my debit card, without occurring an additional charge, I will not spend my cash there either.

The old Korean lady who worked there was the worst. She didn't accept my change and returned all one cent change. I saw a lot of coins in the cash register. I got the receipt and confirmed it. I am very angry because the receipt and the price she said were different. She did not say hello or thank you at all. I will never go to that store again.

While Metrofresh at the Wilshire/Vermont Metro Station has always had excellent food choices, their staff choices have not as of recent been the most ideal. This morning ( Thursday, September 11th, 2019 ) my daughter, a CSUN student, stopped in to purchase her breakfast and was treated horribly by the older lady cashier on staff at 7:26 am . Not only this she steal $21.93 off of my daughter's bank account ( all the money she had in her account ), she also shewed her out of the store. My daughter was purchasing a mere $9.00 worth of food for herself, why did this ghastly woman charge $21.93? I immediately had my daughter close off her card and she proceeded to school. Upon arriving home, we called Bank of America to reverse the fraudulent charges by this merchant. I did call this establishment this afternoon to speak to the store manager and I was told by a staff member with a very heavy Korean accent that he will be in tomorrow morning at 8:00am. It is unacceptable for any establishment doing business in such a high density area where professionals and their children are their consumers, to treat paying customers in such a beastly, abhorrent manner.
