This little supermarket has been a staple in the community and in our family growing up. Still the same goods inside with friendly workers who greet you with a smile. Although small it has an assortment of many Mexican ingredients as well as other cuisines.

Excellent local supermarket. Great selection of fresh fruit and veg, butchers, hot freshly prepared food, as well as all your regular grocery needs. Always good offers and discounts. Very reasonably priced, wonderful friendly staff. A fantastic small business to support.

I enjoy shopping at this local grocer store that caters authentic Mexican products, as well as fresh fruits and vegetables. My personal favorite is their house specialty: Homemade dry cured chorizo. The bilingual staff is always friendly and ready to help.

As a Mexican, this is just 10/10. You will find EVERYTHING from food to cleaning supplies. Some things are very hard to find in conventional supermarkets, but here you will find most authentic Mexican supplies. Definitely coming back!

So lucky to have this place in the neighborhood. They always have a lot of cool products on sale - like random high quality olive oils and sauces

My favorite in Chicago! I still go somewhere else for pan dulce, BUT you can't beat their deli or their prices

La Casa Del Pueblo has gr8 tasting authentic Mexican food from tacos 2 enchiladas & soups, tamales ect... Also can bring ur own alcohol which just adds 2 da dining experience, gr8 service & clean.

Try their in-house Chorizo. They also have some delicious rotisserie chicken.

After 19 years of living out of Chicago and returning this year…..this store beat out the big chain stores and smaller ones near by in all categories! Prices, cleanliness, friendliness, ambiance, selection and produce quality! This is my new weekly grocery stop.

I love this little supermarket (don't be fooled by its size, it has a really nice selection)! They have a variety of vegan/vegetarian options, as well as health food and natural body care items you'd expect to find somewhere like whole foods, which was a really nice surprise. There is a whole section of bargain items where you can catch some great deals on packaged foods, as well as an area where you can get discounted produce (seriously, keep an eye out, I just bought 6 bell peppers for $1.89)!
In general it may not be the least expensive option, but if you shop the deals it can be, and anyways I don't mind spending a couple of extra dollars to support a local store that stocks a little bit of everything.

Good walking distance and a good supermarket with snacks,vegetables, and meat that I've never even seen before in any Cermak and/or Aldi. The cashier's are very nice and reasonable for any purchase in any way, they wont even mind if you pay fully only with coins! This store is an overall 10/10 with pretty much everything that you need.

I was just introduced to what my friend called the "hidden gem grocery store." Just 4 blocks south of Costco. The owners of this grocery store seem to be doing just about everything right. The store is very clean. All the aisles are blocked throughout the day. Nice, but not huge selection, of items in every department. Produce and meats were very fresh. I was disappointed in a couple bargain purchases of brands that I didn't recognize. I threw out ultra cheap packaged dozen donuts after tasting one. Was pleasantly surprised with several frozen items that i tried for the first time. Buy only 1 of anything you haven't had before. I appreciate the signage in English and that all staff I encountered also spoke English well enough to assist. Prices are fair overall. Some unexpectedly high. Some unexpectedly low.

Love this place! My grandparents used to go there all the time for special occasions and bring back packs of tamales. Many fond memories. Grandparents are no longer with us but their memories live on. Strongly connected to Casa Del Pueblo.

Surprised to see that they are now selling alcohol. The neighborhood is changing.

Not crowded and the employees are very nice and the food is great! There is also cooked food that you can order. They have different prices. The prices on eggs had gone back to normal, enjoy shopping!

This store seems very well managed - shelves are neatly stocked, the produce is fresh, and the staff is helpful and friendly. They also have a variety of interesting foods I normally only see at expensive health food stores.
