King's Liquors

I've known the owner FREDDY for about 20 years. He is a kind man with a heart of gold who has a bond with his regulars inc me. I've seen him do kind acts to certain unfortunate people, while chasing away troublemakers with the vocabulary of a SHOREMAN.

We host a lot of parties and we rely on King's Liquors for our deliveries. We have been very pleased with them and they also offer fast delivery on Postmates or DoorDash. We have found that it's best to call in advance to place a delivery or to go in store to pick out the beverages and snacks we need for our events. They will usually offer free delivery for large orders. All the guys that work there are very sweet, and the store is very convenient.

A Santa Monica classic. They have all kinds of beer, wine, kegs, cigarettes, and JUUL vapor, too. The owner is very nice and they offer delivery through the store or Postmates or Doordash. The wine selection is good. They have a vintage sign everyone loves to take pictures of. Good location and customer service!

Thus is a family owned liquor store, with friendly brothers Fred and Peter at the helmsley. They are open every day but Yom Kippur. The store has a wonderful selection of spirits, wine and beer, as well as lots of snacks and a case of basic groceries. But the main thing is the service. This kind of store is fading from our cities and towns. A true local gem. If you pay $2 more for your bottle than at a big box store, know you are preserving a way of life and supporting a local family.

Very friendly, and good customer service i was very pleased at the casher, he was very wormed welcomed attitude was very positive and help us get check out fast it was my second time going to the same place and attitude was the same but had more customers with me and all was very good with some chat and laughs going on...but i do half to say parking can be tricky to get out of thats about it.

Probably the last of the old school liquor stores...dusty bottles, obscure labels, and the owner working the counter. But more importantly, they can boast a surprisingly good selection. (I don't know who else carries Tsing-tao west of Chinatown.) Prices are fair for the area. They're also a lucky Lotto and Scratcher retailer. Try the house pistachios, delicious and a bargain!
