I came here to get a prescription filled that is not covered by my insurance. I had been paying $120.00 a month for it. They found a coupon for me that brought the price down to $65.00. I've been paying the lower price ever since. Unbelievable service!

It's okay for a drug store

My first complaint is it’s understaffed the pharmacist was doing vaccines, looking for lances and filling prescriptions. There was a person registering people for clinic and handling checkouts at the pharmacy counter. Second complaint is that electronic prescriptions on serval occasions seem to be held in limbo when sent from doctors office. I have to call the pharmacy and demand they look through the system and of course there it is, they tell me they will pull it through and type it up. (It’s electronic what’s to type up?)

Unprofessional & inconvenient pharmacy and store.
A pharmacy tech ran to ask pharmacist why all my prescriptions weren’t ready despite doctor post dating it. If it’s the case, I know for a fact it will say it under noted in my prescriptions, so when she couldn’t find an answer she said hold on let me find out. She made up a generic story “doctor said not to dispense before tomorrow”. I would def know because this time it was ready 2 weeks in advance.

Please conduct a best practices training session to know i have my docs in speed dial, and I know exactly when what is due. I have been picking up 4 prescriptions for years and they are all ready at the same time regardless of location and I’ve moved to 2 different towns In past 8 months, never had an issue. Their system is probably outdated; one day they didn’t have my new address. I told them forget it I’ll just use old. Next day, I give my old address and was told it’s wrong! I guess the problem is clear

Lastly, I moved to buffalo grove 2 months ago and found this Walgreens is stating open 24/7. Guess what? Only the store is. Like we need to buy overpriced candy and random items here that can’t be found at Woodmans’ down the street?

Pharmacists are not only rude, but have no idea what they are saying and blame doctor or insurance for their own shortcomings. I get “refill due text”. I submit refills. If I do all 4 together it says “Insurance issues”
I tried to see if they are really that slow or if it’s in fact an insurance issue. So I submitted one at a time. Guess what? insurance issue is resolved magically.
I take 3-4 trips since I moved. It’s a waste of time. By this time they should at least know my name. All the precious ones did, especially taking about 9-10 trips for 2 months of scripts. So glad to be out of here.

Good riddance

This place should be charged with crimes. I'm out of my medicine, wait an hour, find out it's not ready. I get sent home without the medicine I need to live. Mind you, I sent the refill request in 8 hours ago. I can't even get served by a person to transfer my prescriptions out!

Horrible service at the pharmacy!! I went 3 times and every time they said that my prescription isn’t ready after telling me that it will be ready in 30 mins..

Service here has only gotten slower. I wait in line for 20 minutes now every time I need a refill, sometimes longer. At least twice in the past I've submitted an order online and given a pickup time, only to be turned away in person for one reason or another without any prior online notification other than on their website. You guys have my phone number AND email address, what gives? I just waited on hold for 30 minutes because after I checked your website to see if my prescription's ready, there was an error and a request to call the store (again, no attempt to let me know about this, not even an automated message) and THEN I got hung up on after waiting. I'm picking up my prescription tomorrow and going elsewhere next time.

Scheduled an appointment on line for a negative covid test for travel. Show up 15 minutes early. Clinic closed. I ask the technician and she says advocate is separate from walgreens. She told me to make an appointment on walgreens dot com i said that’s what i did and she asked for my last name and she said I did not have an appointment even though walgreens sent me a reminder email with my confirmation number showing me i had an appointment. It truly seemed as if she was just trying to shoo me away.

Absolutely the worst customer experience ever at this store. They don’t care how long people are waiting and don’t even try to be efficient, then are just rude about it. Transferring all my prescriptions to a different pharmacy so I never have to go to this awful store again.

Horrible experience. Waited in line for 20 min to pick up my meds. Just one person was taking care of the customers. Asked for additional assistance from pharmacist Mandy Bot, she rudely responded that I need to go back and wait in line and she is too busy to help me. The other pharmacist didn’t even turned his head. These people hate their jobs and all the customers, so if you in pain and need meds, find another Walgreens.

I came there to pick up prescription for my kids, I had all four kids in the car, one was throwing up in a bucket and the other one was coughing nonstop. I asked for something that’s free but they wouldn’t give it to me because of my prescription, I told them I will pay for it. Instead of calling the doctor making a right or just give it to me because it’s free! They told me to be mad at doctor not them. It’s time to switch to CVS!

The PD. gave the prescription last Friday, and today is Wednesday. I have been calling the Pharmacy everyday since then. It took them 5 days to figure out that the medication is out of stock, from ALL Walgreens stores. Now they are reaching back to the PD. to get substitute prescription, without knowing how long it's going to take. My daughter have been in pain and as a new mom I feel more painful . Hope Walgreens can improve their system, it should have been much more pre-active on this kind of issues.

Extremely long wait for prescription pick up.

Waited 30 min for eye drops (usually takes 5 min or less). Please consider making service more efficient especially for prefilled meds.

They were going to charge us for the COVID vaccine. The tech said she couldn’t run the insurance and the only way it would work was pay out of pocket. The vaccine is free. What are they charging for?!
