Got my updated COVID-19 booster here. The line was not long and the nurse was super nice. Though news said at that time many pharmacies were undergoing issues with insurance providers because the new booster had not been entered into their system yet, at this Walgreens I did not come with trouble and got all set very quickly. A very satisfactory appointment and the location was also easy to reach!

They always get you in and out quickly. 2 floors of stuff. It's pretty cool... nice views of downtown Chicago.

Very cool digital beverage screen doors show what they have and grayed out if it's sold out.

Functional ONE STOP SHOP. They have everything! Booze. HIV Testing. Ramen. Freshii. Cellphones. Souvenirs. FREE COFFEE with Breakfast Purchase. Well-mannered Staff.

This Walgreens is amazing! I didn’t even know that it has a lot of food and Chicago’s gifts! I bought some gifts for my family, friends and for myself!

Absolutely incredible. The staff at my hotel said "Go to Walgreens" when I asked about groceries. As a foreigner, I thought Walgreens was just a chemist, but wow was I wrong. This place has *everything* you could want - it's a gift for the clueless tourist!

I really liked this Walgreens. They have a focus on healthy food and a variety of snacks rather than cleaning supplies, cheap kids toys, and all the other random "stuff" that fill so many other Walgreens. The store itself was clean, bright, and filled with natural light due to the big windows on two sides.

It was busy while I was there, with a constant line to the check-outs. However, that line was always moving right along. They were also smart about the registers and lines. Rather than having people waiting in separate lines for each register, they had one line and just called the next person to the next open register. So I only had to wait 2-3 minutes to check out, despite the line being eight or ten deep, and the cashier was extremely friendly and helpful. Best of all, they had my favorite giant malted milk balls! I got the last bag - those things disappear fast!

Explored this Walgreens while visiting Chicago. It's actually a two story store and even had some groceries downstairs. Recomended :)

I arrived at Walgreen’s on 12/15/22 at 7:48am. I walked up to the register close to the exit and I was greeted by Mabel. I then began to express to her about the issue with the passport photo I has taken two days ago. Mabel then asked me to walk over to the photo center where she would assist me. Mabel went above and beyond for me. I went in there worried and came out satisfied with the level of service I received. Can’t forget Teresa, for some reason my e-receipt was not in email to begin the even exchange on my passport photos and Teresa basically said not to worry that she could find it with my phone number. These both ladies worked as a team to provide excellent customer service. To add to that, they were super friendly and patient. It’s not often that I come across friendly employees, especially in the morning. Walgreens show these ladies that you are proud and honored of having employees like them work for your company!

Great and easy experience getting vaccines for travel here! Appointment made online ahead of time, waited 5 minutes max, and all vaccines were available!

This is my go to Walgreens when I am in the Downtown area. It has two floors with plenty of stacked merchandise. The service lines always move very quickly, nice cashiers, and the store has a very clean pristine look every time I shop in the store. My favorite part of this particular Walgreen is there Speciality items. In here you can buy fresh baked goods, Sushi, Sandwiches and Salads. I just love their Speciality Items, the desserts are delicious, but the salads made by the people of Freshii are the bests!!! Go here all the time to this location and will continue to go just for the salads alone.

Gorgeous store, but not open 24 hours, because Chicago is not New York and does sleep at night. This area on State Street pretty much rolls up the sidewalks by 11 p.m. so Walgreens probably feels there's not much of a need for a store open 24/7. Beautiful store, nicely designed, immaculate, and very well stocked. Have to say if I lived downtown would be nice to have a store like this open 24 hours, as opposed to closing at midnight.

Good staff in pharmacy section. I had some techincal issues in registering my account to walgreens for an appointment in pharmacy. The other Walgreens in the area were not giving clear answers for to walk in appointment and deflecting but this particular branch was cooperative and figured out a resolution.

The nicest, and pretty much the best Walgreens ever made. Two floors of everything you would find at a Walgreens plus way way more. Great selection of food and drinks. A million times better than that rundown Walgreens that used to occupy that same corner ages ago. Lots of Cashiers so you never wait too long in line.

This is an outstanding Walgreens store on State street in Chicago. The store is two stories with regular items but the first floor is more modern with a large liquor and fresh foods. The service was friendly and the store is clean. The store is in a very convenient location.

This Walgreens is beautiful and easy to navigate. They have frozen yogurt, sushi, clinic, nail salon etc. so you're sure to find something you need. They still have clearance items and typical health supplies, but they also have a great alcohol section and fresh flowers. They truly have it all.

Love going here because it's located right in the Loop and easy to get to. Great first floor with pop, candy, liquor etc. 2nd floor is awesome as well. I go to pick up prescriptions for my mom and dad at the pharmacy. The pharmacist and pharmacy techs are very nice, helpful and keep you informed on everything. This location is tops on my list all the time

Shellene was incredibly helpful, gave wonderful advice and introduced me to new products that were fantastic. She was very knowledgeable and a pleasure. I’ve been a customer of Chicago Walgreens for 12 years and she is the best associate I have ever met, if she’s not manager then you are missing out on a very smart and talented woman. Thanks Shellene, the nail polish has great coverage!!
