Ground Up Coffee

I was looking for a great coffee spot and saw that this has a perfect score. It definitely up there with the rating and solid customer service.

I ordered a large latte, extra shot espresso and with almond milk. It was the perfect temperature and the flavor was just right. The cookie that was freshly baked was one of the best chocolate chip cookies I had and really complimented my coffee. The banana bread is excellent and one of the best I’ve had, wish it had nuts, but great overall.

I’d definitely come back again and try their other menu items. Parking is limited to the street and it’s next to a solid golf course.

Great local gathering spot with good coffee and indoor & outdoor seating offerings. I got the vanilla cinnamon latte which was good. They didn’t have many pastry offerings, just some coffee cake, so more so just a coffee spot.

You can bring work here, but this is really a pace to catch up with friends or stop to grab a local brew.

20-minute parking is available right out front which is nice, but it might be more difficult to find a spot if you’re looking to stay awhile.

The baristas were nice. They also have a selection of books that you can check out which is fun.

Great spot for good coffee, the staff is super attentive and do the orders quickly. The banana bread is delicious, I always get an extra one for later. Parking in front and back, very convenient and great place to do some work with outdoor and indoor seating. Oh great tasting coffee as well.

First time trying their coffee and it was delicious. I got the iced latte. Friendly staff and it’s a great place to bring your laptop and get work done. 100% recommend!

This coffee shop is one of my top favorite. Coffee is always delicious and the service is great. It’s maintained very clean. Pet and kid friendly.

Just visited this place the other day and I have quickly become a regular and committed customer. Had some of the best black tea!! It's such a cute and cool looking place. The owners are really nice too! It's got a great vibe and it's dog friendly! I would 100 % recommend this cool new coffee shop to anyone in the area. It's clean and totally comfortable to come and do work or if you need a quiet place to read. Another cool thing is there is a book shelf with a great selection! Stop by and check it out!

Nice little place to stop by for a coffee or tea and some treats if you're a little hungry.

They don't have a big selection of drinks but what they do have tastes great! You can tell they spend their time and focus making the drinks, which is why they taste so good.

The location is small, perfect for you to relax, read or have a conversation with a friend. They have an outside patio where you can enjoy your drink while feeling the breeze. There is "20 minute" parking at the front of the coffee shop if you're getting to go, or they have parking at the back of the shop if you're planning a longer stay. They also have a selection of books you can borrow if you feel like taking a small reading trip with your coffee.

They do get busy at times so just be prepared to wait in line. It's no big deal, just sit down and relax or grab a book.

If you're looking for a nice chill spot to sit down and enjoy your coffee or just some coffee to go, I recommend this place.

A gem of a coffee shop in Montebello, I was looking for a nice place to meet up with a good friend and we found Ground Up Coffee half way between us. As I drove up, parking is located behind the shop and there are street parking (short term) around. The coffee shop seems to serve the locals and their coffee is very good!! My friend and I ordered their pour over coffee and we enjoyed the two different options (Las Iluvias wet & the yirgacheffe). Their baked good also seemed good; I had their tasty chocolate chip cookie. The barista that helped me was friendly and knowledgeable, and the shop was super clean and welcoming!

Though a little small, it seems to have enough space for a few people to sit inside and a few tables on the outside. This place is very well done and cozy, and I highly recommend you check them out. They know their coffee!

an overall great experience and nice little location easy to access off the 60 freeway. we came in on christmas day 2020 to grab a cup and were met with nice staff and quick service. i'm happy that they were open today as there were other people waiting in line as well. i think i'll have to visit again and try something else too.

My friend and I are always looking to catch up and we're always willing to explore new places... this time we came across this lil spot in Montebello. Ground up coffee is a nice, chill and quiet place to hang out. It's great for chatting, studying, enjoying your friends all while having coffee. They have a nice variety of both hot and cold coffees and to accompany that they have great tasting pastries! By the way, I love their set up, the way they keep it in order and clean!

Been here less than a handful of times because I don’t live near. But when I’m in the area I make sure drop by. The latest drink I ordered was the Iced Hazelnut Latte. Pretty good choice. Tasted sweet but not overbearing like Starbucks.

This shop makes the best Soy Cappuccino I have ever had and my second go-to drink is their Cortado w/Almond Milk. Highly recommend them!

My first time here, all I can say is, so far so good. My latte was delicious. I will be back.

I dropped in here after work to try out a new to me coffee shop. The people were very nice and provided quick service. I tried their Cinnamon Vanilla latte with oat milk and it was great! I like the art and the book collection that you can enjoy at the shop. If I’m in the area again I’ll define back!

Ground Up Coffee just off the 60 Freeway off the Garfield exit just before Montebello Country Club entrance; Ground up always delivers delicious espresso, cortado, cappuccino & my new favorite Honey Latte. The baristas are always super friendly stop by and check it out☕

Service was amazing, staff was knowledgeable and the place was clean and well organized, but the one thing you will take away from this place is the aroma of cofee in the atmosphere and the wonderful designs from the barista, the flavors were spot on definitely recommend this place

I found this place on accident! And saw that it had some really good views. Mostly wanted to come here cause I saw the latte art, but definitely want to come back more due to their coffee being really well made. The service is really nice and friendly, which is always a plus in my book.

Been here twice now, they make the best lattes with gorgeous latte art. It's a refreshing change compared to the Starbucks chains.

Any time we are on this side of town in the morning we make a point to stop by. The atmosphere is clean and minimal. Not a lot of inside seating but they have a nice patio with some instagrammable signage. The coffee is super tasty, never too sweet. The baked goods are delicious!

Their coffee is delicious, always. Their almond lattes are my favorite!! As a Salvadoran I was happy to see they have pour overs from El Salvador!! (Oh! And their home made coffee cake is heavenly!!)
