Blue Sun Soda Shop

This place was so fun the staff was great kind and friendly!! I had the Dill pickle milkshake it was absolutely delicious. I will be going back for another, we also got some very yummy soda pop flavors and candy great store .

Discovered Blue Sun Soda thanks to Reddit, how have I not known about this place?!
Every kind of soda (pop) you could possibly want. Spring Lake Park is the only one I’ve visited so far but I love the layout, everything is clearly labeled and it’s all arranged by flavor. They even have a diet section.
Haven’t checked out the soda shop yet, but will be back for sure. Oh yeah, and there’s candy, too! Great deals if you buy in bulk as well.

Alot of fun pops! Icky sounding flavors and tummy sounding flavors. Their candy selection is small but lots to f oldies but goodies! I'm not sure about the "restaurant" but if it's actually open, i would love to try it! I will be going back to try more pops.

Update: went back again today, bought six different pops. I really want to try the bug throw up, spaghetti, blue cheese and several more but I'm scared! Lol

Oh my word! This place was amazing! Every brand and flavor of soda imaginable. It was incredible and the staff were super nice and friendly and helpful. Free popcorn for all visitors and a number of fantastic local sodas are made here, too. There’s a classic soda fountain that is open on the weekends and an arcade here too. Overall incredible experience. They also have a cooler and they can cool your pop for you in minutes! If I could give this place six stars I would!

Had a fabulous time looking through all of the sodas! Don't think there's anything that we couldn't have found! The staff is very knowledgeable. They let us know what some sodas were made from and tasted like. Obviously they have tasted pretty much everything! Can't wait to go there when the arcade and the soda fountain are open.

Best selection I've ever seen. You could spend an hour just looking through the varieties. I dare say they have more than the candy store in Jordan, MN.

The shakes and malts looked good. Something for next time.

I wish they were near a beach or tourist spot. It seems like the sort of place that deserves more attention.

Massive variety of over 1300 sodas ( including "Whistler" which is made onsite!), Lots of pinball machines at 25 cents a play, a new soda fountain that sells soda, phosphates, and floats, a great staff, and a variety of nostalgic candy. Free popcorn everyday. Tours of their soda making in progress. General price for a bottle of soda is $2.50. Whistler soda is $1.50 a bottle plus .50 deposit which is given back on return. My boys and I can spend two hours there on $5.00 each. We love this place!

One of our favorite places to stop. So much fun stuff. We always get a case of random sodas and try them later at home! We are lucky to have this place in the Twin Cities!

They have a little arcade with older games on it, though they're still getting most of them working as they're older machines. And they're setting up an old fashioned soda fountain there.

Prices a little high but that's just specialty stores in general. Their own in house brand is cheaper with a 50 cents refund if you bring them back the bottles.

Selection is good, staff is friendly, and you'll struggle to get your kids out. Good place to take the family but you're not getting out without spending 30 dollars.

Love visiting this place. It's a treat visually and for the taste buds.

A Minnesota novelty. This shop is incredibly nostolgic, filled with retro candy, gag toys, and 1,000s of exotic soda flavors. Whether you have kids to entertain or you're a couple looking for a unique date idea, Blue Sun Soda shop is the place to visit!

Everything about this place is epic. There are so many soda pops to choose from, it was hard to stick to my limit of 6. If you want your day to be even more fun, go here

I was amazed with how many varieties they had. The staff was friendly in helping us to find everything and it had a good atmosphere. We didn't go on the tour but could hear a bunch of it and it seemed like a good time. We went on a weekday but definitely want to check out the weekend (and may revise) with the Soda fountain being open.

Highly recommend if you want to challenge your tastebuds to something new or find a flavor you miss from your childhood.

BSSS brings back a lot of the nostalgia and cheer that the old soda shops used to provide. They have true soda jerks, and classic egg creams a well as a host of other goodness. The service is great, and the place is generally just a lot of fun.

And! They held a really nice private new years party this year that was a lot of fun. You should check them out.

Fun soda shop! We picked a beverage to sip on while we played some games. They have a beverage chiller at the check out so you can have a cold soda with in 5 minutes. They had some old school pinball machines and some more recent ones. They also had Skeeball! There was also a candy selection.

Super fun little shop with thousands of varieties of soda, including a ton of novelty flavors (ranch dressing, bacon, bloody nose, etc.), but also an extensive collection of legitimately delicious small labels.
My personal favorites include Henry Weinhard's, which makes classic drinks like root beer and cream soda, and Americana, which makes sodas with real fruit as primary ingredients. I also recommend Jic-Jac’s cherry soda, it’s delicious.

Besides the sodas, they also have what appears to be their own private-label bottling company, a pinball section filed with retro pinball machines (so bring some quarters, it's only 25¢ per play), which has expanded quite a lot since i first visited, a candy section with a modest selection, a selection of vinyl records sitting next to the pinball area, and a tacked-on fireworks shop that doesn't really make sense, but it's not like a soda shop is the most logical business venture anyway.

This place is nothing short of amazing! Every soda you can imagine is on the shelves. Free popcorn while you browse and a chiller at the counter to pop an immediate cold soda. Rumor has it they also have an old school soda fountain planned.

Was a fun fantastic time with my son.

Came across this out of order mechanical bowling game. Brought back childhood memories playing this in a Bradford 3/2 joint.
