Absolutely love this place. It has amazing treats

Beautiful delicious candy and so many choices. Back in the 1970's, my friend Suzanne and I used to go to every yard sale in Helena on Saturday mornings, and we always went to the Parrot for chili or a tamale with a cherry lime soda as soon as the store opened. Of course we then took our little bags of candy with us as we searched for antiques and other treasures.

We are staying at the Mini vic and came in per reccomendation, we are glad we did. Thank you for the sweet treats!

Visited for the first time, the workers were extremely welcoming and nice. I love that it is all original mostly. It feels you went back in time when you walk in. The candy is amazing.

This is a fun ice cream parlor & candy shop. Neat historic building in old downtown Helena. We split a 3 scoop sundae that was wonderful.

This place has been here for as long as I can remember. They keep the worlds kindest staff and have the most delicious treats and sweets at a very reasonable price.

What a cool place to stop and get a sweet treat! Either chocolate or ice cream it will be a win. Staff went above and beyond to serve our group of 10. Check out the jukebox for some good oldies to dance to!
Also they have a desert that has citric acid to make it pretty sour, definitely should check it out!

We love to bring visitors to Helena to The Parrot for sodas and icecream. Since everything is made on-site (just like they've been doing for 100 years) it's a rare experience that the whole family enjoys. And of course all the candies are incredible!

One of the first businesses in this city. Still in their original building, you experience their old-time sofa fountain, still in use. Antique booths in the back of the store provide seating while you enjoy old time treats made at the sofa fountain, along with simple meals! The front of the store is the candy shop, with the sweets they make on site displayed in glass cases! Carly helped us and it was very apparent that she knows her stuff! We could choose any variety of candies, in any amount! Darling store! We'll definitely be back!

The interior and history of this place is absolute fantastic. We had a double hot dog and a huckleberry milkshake for lunch and it was very tasteful. The crew was really friendly. I absolutely recommend this place!

They have really good everything! They are also very nice and helpful! I come from Great Falls and order stuff for the whole family, so had a lot to pick up. The girl that helped me also helped carry everything out to my truck. Our favorites are the chili and almond butter toffee.
