Martin's Wines

Martin is an absolute legend in Helena! 100% recommend stopping by for some wine and a good conversation. He went above & beyond to educate us on some obscure old world wines that are unique to his shop. We ended up buying a mixed case and every bottle so far has been a smash hit! He even was kind enough to pull out a map and show us his favorite hikes in Glacier NP. He has a good heart and is refreshing to hear his honest opinion on all his wines. Be back soon!

I love martins and Martin! We are apart of the monthly club and get to choose a wine each month. So far they have all been very good and Martin is a wealth of knowledge.

Martin has a great collection of many varieties of wine that are well priced. He is very knowledgeable about what he sells. 10/10!

Like understanding wine? He knows the whole selection deeply and personally, and can explain why each one is different or might be worth trying.

Don't know Jack about wine? Martin will explain them to you, take your suggestions, and give you something fantastic. Turns out my wife DOES like red wine, if I can ask Martin for help in finding the right one.

Do you like clubs and feeling exclusive? Great! There's a wine club to get discounts, and it gives you a reason to stop by every month!

Seriously, you have to love that there's a place in Helena where a gentleman as passionate about wine as Martin will walk you through an interesting and deeply curated selection. Wines from rare grape cultivars, wines from weird regions, wines from Montana, wines with a totally different flavor profile than you'd expect - he's got it all.

Martin is an exceptionally knowledgeable, classy, and friendly gentleman with some exceptional wines in his store. Some very rare wines that are incredibly delicious are available in his small well kept store. Totally worth stopping by and checking it out!

If you don’t go see Martin in Helena I’m not sure you went to Montana. He’s got all the rare wine with the rarest grapes to buy. And he’ll educate you on the geography and all kinds of cool stuff behind those wines, plus he’s your glacier national park tour guide! So don’t miss going to see him he’s the best! Much love!

A fun place to shop, as Martin is truly knowledgeable and passionate about wine. For a small shop, he has a very diverse variety of wines, from grapes and places that are quite unique. If you are looking for a special bottle or a great wine at a great price Martin can steer you in the right direction.

Martin himself is wonderful. Knowledgeable, kind, and very helpful. His wines are amazing and they are also affordable, unusual labels always selected by Martin intentionally and thoughtfully.

Love this wine shop! We always stay at the DoubleTree when we’re in Helena so we can just walk across the street to visit. Mr. Martin had great stories to share about each wine and amazing recommendations.

I'm not much of a wine drinker, but I went here to purchase a gift for someone else. The owner was very informative without being condescending. Honestly the whole experience couldn't have been any easier and I'll be back again if the need for a wine purchase comes about again.

Store is small and cute, the gentleman that is there is so kind and shares so many facts and information about the wines. A definite mist stop! Wine is great as well!

Pretty good selection and the man inside (presumably Martin) was very friendly and recommended a great wine.

There is also a giant chess set outside, which was a fun distraction.

Fun, warm, knowledgeable and like a personalized tour through wine country...this time, of both N. Italy and Greece! Loved especially the Forgiarin, besides Martin, himself.
